Homemade (well kind of) Easy Peasy Doughnuts!

Here is that recipe I said I was going to post again, just in case you missed it before.....

Okay, you know I don't normally promote this kind of stuff, BUT these looked soooo good and EASY! I just had to share with you. Hopefully, YOU will make them and tell me how they turn out. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Don't they look yummy?!

Okay, I got this from the Pillsbury site. They have a lot of great, easy recipes on there. You should go check it out if you haven't already. Here is the link. Have fun!

Pillsbury deal at Safeway

Just got back from Safeway and here is what I found on the Pillsbury deal. I don't know if you all have read about the deals of some the Pillsbury biscuits being $0.19 each as a sale price (with your club card), but this is what I came away with from "my" Safeway on Argonne and Mission.

The cheapest of the Pillsbury were the Grands Jr. at $0.49 each when you buy four. They also had little peelies on them for $0.40 off of four (not great, but hey a coupon for them). Then, when I went to checkout apparently two E-coupons of $0.40 came off, making my total even less.

The biscuits that I have seen posted on other blogs at $0.19 were $0.99 at "my" Safeway, which I was bummed about, but I still got a good deal.

Remember that recipe that I posted a few weeks ago of how to make "homemade doughnuts?" I'll post it again, just in case you missed it. Much more easier and a little more healthier than the real thing.

Anyway, that is what I discovered here at "my" store.

Thanks!
