This is a GREAT deal for all you Pop-Tart fans out there. Right now, there is a Pop-Tarts coupon available for $1/2 boxes of the low-fat kind. Hurry and print this while it is still available. I'm sure it will go fast.

Anyway, through 10/22, Safeway has Pop-Tarts priced at $1.49 with in ad coupon (limit 4). (This was in this past Sunday's paper).

Safeway=$5/$15 of ANY Frozen Foods

As of today, there is a coupon at the customer service counter for $5 of a $15 purchase or more of ANY frozen food items. "My" Safeway has signs posted on the freezer doors stating that they are at customer service and one coupon per person/family.

It's a little booklet and has other coupons of....

Heads up for Capri Sun at Safeway

I was in there yesterday buying some Capri Sun with the $1/3 coupon (NLA) that I printed. Well, I discovered that my Safeway had pealies attached to the boxes for Save $1 when you buy 1 Roarin' Waters and 2 Capri Sun. That's just the same as the $1/3 that is NLA! The only difference is that you need to buy 1 of the Roarin' Waters Capri Sun.

Just remember to play nice and not take the pealies off of the items you are not purchasing. :)

Safeway Just for U

This is a repost.... I have taught a couple of coupon classes recently and just wanted to post this again, just in case anyone needed some help in getting signed up for the Just for U program through Safeway.

I wanted to talk to you about something. You know, since Safeway eliminated taking digital coupons from Cellfire and Shortcuts I have just been going in there sparingly, as they are just WAYYYYY TOO EXPENSIVE for the most part, unless there is a GREAT deal with coupons and whatnot. I have heard people mention the "Just for U" program, which is not available in the Spokane area yet. :( Then, I have also heard people mention the digital coupons that they offer on their site (Safeway's site). I have not really paid too much attention to it, because, quite honestly using digital coupons was sooooooo stressful for me. Wasn't it to you too? You just never knew if they were going to come off at all, or maybe one or two, or even if the cashier was going to give you grief about using them. So, needless to say a part of me was not too disappointed when they decided not to take them anymore.

Okay, so I had heard, again, the mention of the digital coupons again. So, I decided to go on over and take a look and see what was available. Well, yesterday they were having the daily sale of the oranges and "those" oranges had a "digital" coupon on the Safeway site. So, I thought to myself that I would "try" to load it to my card, and then go make my purchase of oranges and see what comes of it. Keeping in mind that "it is okay if the coupon doesn't come off." Yes, I have to talk to myself ahead of time so I don't get frustrated with myself.

They had a $1/1 coupon available. So, I loaded to my card. Then, my husband went to Safeway, after work, yesterday, picked up two bags of oranges, and low and behold.........THE COUPON CAME OFF!!! Yay!!! So, we got two (8-lb) bags of oranges for JUST $3.98!

Our total savings was $10 for a savings of 72%! Wow!

Anyway, I wanted to walk you through the steps of setting up your card, if you wanted to.

1)  First go on over here.
2)  Then, go to the top where it says, Sign-in, Register Now, My Account. It looks like this....

3)  Now, you will be directed to the "Registration" page.

4) Fill your info in.
5)  After all your info is in, it will direct you to the main page. So, now you have this in front of you....

You see where I have circled "Coupon Center"? Well, click on that.
6)  Now you are in the "Coupon Center."..

Here's the orange coupon that I added to my card...(Just so you can see what the coupons look like)

Now, you can start adding coupons to your card. Hopefully, they will come off at your next visit, like mine did.

**Of note if you try to register for the "Just for U" program and you are in our area, it will not let you as it will give you the message that it is not available your area. :( You can still, however, load your card with coupons! ☺

Safeway Shop Today

Well, after I left Zumba this afternoon I thought I would pop in at Safeway and "try" to use my digital coupons that I had loaded for the kiddos. Here's my score.....

As you can see the Popsicle box is already open by ummmm....me. Whoever knew that they would make Jolly Rancher flavored Popsicles? Oh my goodness, they are sooooo yummy and only 1 WW Points Plus! Anyway, here's what I did....

PS-I highly suggest that you go onto the Safeway site every once-in-a-while and load your card with coupons as you never know when something may come up for sale that you may like. If I wouldn't have loaded my card with these two coupons, I wouldn't have gotten such a great deal on them. Just a suggestion. ☺

Safeway Deal

So, Safeway has a deal going on this week on some of their Kellogg products and some others too. It's called buy 4 save $4.

Well, look what I found for cheap......

Yep, these are on sale for $1.49 each when you buy 4. PLUS, there is a blinkie coupon right above the product (this is confirmed at LL and Argonne) for $0.75/1, making them each $0.74 when you use four coupons.

Post Fruity Pebbles or Cocoa Pebbles bars $1.49 X4
-$0.75/1 blinkie X4
=$2.96, making them JUST $0.74 each!

Safeway Policy Change??

I just read a little blurb that Safeway has now put into effect....

~Safeway will no longer accept more than 3 like coupons in a transaction regardless of value.

I, myself, have not confirmed this personally, but with the recent backlash of the episode of  Extreme Couponing where one of the "extreme couponers" allegedly committed coupon fraud at Safeway, on the show, I think we are going to run into many many changes in the near future. Oh my.....Do you all know what I'm talking about?

Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you just in case you were out and about and going to do some shopping at Safeway. Maybe you might want to check with the manager before you do your shop. Rumor is, is that "the computer" actually refused the coupons after the third one. So, it sounds like it is already "in the system."

Safeway=Another $5 off of $15 in Frozen Food Coupon STARTING TOMORROW 3/23

I love Tuesdays! I am soooo excited to get up, hoping and praying that I get The Pinch that morning. So, this morning I got up a little late (3:30), made my coffee (MUST have coffee that early in the mornin'), grabbed The Pinch, came downstairs, and checked to see what goodies I could find in The Pinch. Well....here's one goodie I found....

Yay, it looks like Safeway has released ANOTHER save $5 instantly when you buy $15 of ANY frozen items, **STARTING TOMORROW, 3/23** (yes, they are again excluding frozen meat and seafood items). These were pretty **hot** the last time they were out. So, let's see what we can come up with.......I still have to do a little research, but I wanted to share that piece of "exciting" news with you. As far as I can see, hopefully they have some good deals in the store, as I am not seeing too much in the ad to go along with this coupon. Let's keep our fingers crossed. :)
