**Giveaway Time**

Don't forget that this giveaway ends tonight! There are not that many entries, so you have a really good chance of winning so far. I might even have little surprise for the winner! :)

Have you tried any of the new scents of Gain? I have, and I LOVE the stuff. It smells soooooo good and IT WORKS REALLY WELL TOO! When it comes to dish soap I have a certain brand that I stick too and I do not stray too much away from it, but when I was contacted about doing a product review I tried it, and I absolutely LOVE THE STUFF. Are you maybe a little bit jealous? Do you wish that you had some of your own to try? Well, I'm here to tell you have no fear, because I am here. ;) I have been given the opportunity to give a $5 gift card (so you can go a grab a bottle of Gain on someone else's dime or whatever you choose) and a Gain T-shirt (Large) to one of my lucky readers. These T-shirts are soooo cute.

Before I get on down to the details let me just get a little bit of business out of the way....
**This product review was based on using a complimentary Gain product provided by P&G through My Blog Spark. Bloggers also received Walmart gift cards and T-shirts to share with their friends at their discretion. P&G does not represent or warrant the accuracy of any statements or product claims made here, nor does it endorse any opinions expressed within this blog site.

Recipe=Cornbread

This is a super easy recipe and it is soooooo good.

Simple Cornbread

This picture is of the mixture after it is all mixed up and ready to go in the oven.

Ingredients:

One box of Jiffy Cornbread mix dry

One can of cream corn

Directions:

Stir and mix it all up.

Put in a small, square baking dish

Bake it for as long as it says on the box at the temperature suggested on the box. I usually bake mine a little longer.

That's it! Your done and it is only 2 points for one square. This makes 9 servings! You can even top it a little with some cheese. This batch that I have the picture of, I added some Jalepenos from my garden. It was really really good.

Thanks!

My Shopping Trip Today

I am really sorry about the lack of posts this week. I have been soooooo busy with work, kids, life, and couponing. It has been a hectic week. I did get out and do some shopping today though. I did AWESOME at Rite Aid and Safeway! I did okay at Rosauers and Albertsons. So, here is what I did. Here is a picture of my shopping trip today........

Rite Aid-I have been stalking them all week to see if they were going to stock some more Pull-Ups. Well, I was in today and they were stocking the shelves. So, I ask the nice, young lady if they got some more in. She checked for me. They ONLY GOT ONE PACKAGE!!! REALLY?! ONE PACKAGE?! Anyway, she was REALLY SUPER nice and suggested that I still buy the ONE and then buy two others that were not what I needed. Then, I could still use my coupons and get a great deal. Then, when they come in I can come back and just exchange them straight across. YAY!!! I was a HAPPY CAMPER! So, this is what I did.

Huggies Pull-Ups $8.99X3 ($26.97)
-$1/1 Video Value Coupon X3
-$2/1 Printable from here X3
-$5 Up Reward from previous purchase
-$7 Rite Aid rebate check (SCR)

I also used a Catalina from a previous purchase for $3. I waited for my Catalina to print AGAIN and guess what? It didn't print! So, I went up to customer service and they were kind enough AGAIN to give me $3 cash! Wahoo!! I was happy. So, TOOP was $4.11! I saved a whopping $57.57!

Okay, now onto Rosauers

Thanks!

**Recall** Similac Formula

If you have a little one that presently drinks Similac formula, be aware that Similac just released a voluntary recall of certain Similac-brand infant powder formulas. Let me first start off with that the site is running VERY VERY slow.
Why is Abbott recalling these products?
An internal quality review detected the remote possibility of the presence of a small common beetle in the product produced in one production area in a single manufacturing facility. The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that while the formula containing these beetles poses no immediate health risk, there is a possibility that infants who consume formula containing the beetles or their larvae, could experience symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort and refusal to eat as a result of small insect parts irritating the GI tract. If these symptoms persist for more than a few days, a physician should be consulted.

What Similac powder infant formulas are being recalled?
* Certain Similac powder product lines offered in plastic containers.
* Certain Similac powder product lines offered in 8-ounce, 12.4-ounce and 12.9-ounce cans.

* To immediately find out if the product in your possession is included in this recall, click here (you will need to type in your lot number to determine if the product is affected) or you can also call 800-986-8850.

No Abbott liquid infant formulas are impacted. Products not involved in the recall include all Abbott Nutrition liquid ready-to-feed and concentrated infant formulas and all powder and liquid specialty formulas, such as Similac Expert Care™ Alimentum®, Elecare ®, Similac Expert Care™ Neosure ®, Similac® Human Milk Fortifier, and metabolic formulas for inherited disorders.
What do I do if I have an affected product?
* Click here or call Abbott’s consumer hotline 800-986-8850, 24 hours a day, seven days a week
* Both the website and the consumer hotline have specific details on how to complete the return process.
**Hip2Save is also reproting that the phone hotline has an extremely long wait.

Thanks Hip2Save!

Apple-Oat Crumble

Check out this recipe. I just found it! Doesn't it look good. The really cool thing is it looks cheap in points from a WW perspective! I got the recipe from over here if you want to take a look around.

Apple-Oat Crumble
Surprise! Cheerios® cereal and oats top apples for dessert.

Ingredients:
4 cups sliced peeled or unpeeled red apples (3 to 4 medium)
2 cups Cheerios® cereal
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup firm butter or margarine

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375°F.
2. Arrange apple slices in ungreased 8- or 9-inch square pan. Crush cereal. In medium bowl, stir together cereal, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter thoroughly. Sprinkle over apples.
3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Bake 30 min; cover with foil. Bake 10-15 min longer.

Recipe provided by: Cheerios

Now, I haven't went and figured out how many calories or points this might come up to be. I probably would make a few adjustments. For instance, I would probably omit the butter (maybe even use a little bit of applesauce?). I would use Splenda Brown Sugar, maybe even cut it down to 1/4 and then add 1/4 Regular Splenda. Other than that, I would probably leave everything else the same.

Thanks!
