Monday Weigh-In Report

I don't know about you, but I am just wiped. The time change does this to me EVERY time. My body has a hard time adjusting. I swear I'm worse than the kiddos. :)

Anyway, I had my weekly date with Mr. Scale on Sunday. I think he's liking on me right now. ;) I say, "hey, I'm married, but for you Mr. Scale ANYTHING so you can keep giving me what I want." :)

Well, I was a bit apprehensive before setting a single foot on Mr. Scale as last week was my third week into doing "good." I can't remember if I shared this with you, but that week is usually my "bad" week. I usually just say heck with it, I'm gonna eat whatever and however much I want. I DID snack a little more, but I TRACKED it. If you are a WW, then you know that tracking is BIG in our world. WE LIVE BY TRACKING! :)

I did do Zumba two times last week! I LOVE IT!!! I CANNOT SEEM TO GET ENOUGH OF IT! I don't know about you, but I have this tendency to over indulge when I REALLY like something (could be why I am a WW), so I am trying not to with Zumba. I REALLY REALLY want to do Zumba EVEN more in a week, but I think I better stick to just the two times a week for now. Seriously, I'm already addicted, I THINK ABOUT IT EVERYDAY!:) Anyway, I'm serious, if you want to join me, let me know and we can meet up and just have a "frugal" good time with no kiddos and no men for an hour. It's only 3-bucks!!! Well, you had to have known that I would not spend a bunch on a class. Remember I am cheap frugal. ;)

Anyway, yep, I mustered up enough courage, jump on Mr. Scale and he said........"down 2 pounds!" WAHOOOOOOO!!! YAY!!!! I'M ON FIRE NOW!!! Watch out 'cause here I come fat!!! I'm coming for you and going to make you into NOTHING!!! Well.....I hope to.

I just need to share that YES I am SUPER DUPER happy with my loss of 2 pounds, but I am especially excited that with my bad week last week (yes it was all week) that I kept plugging away at being on plan. I didn't give up. It would have been sooooo easy to give up with all the stress that we were dealing with AND I DIDN'T. That, for me, my friends, is a victory! I don't really eat when I am stressed, but when I do I don't "think" about what I am eating and just eat whatever and I DIDN'T do that. Yay for me!

I hope you all had a good week on your plan and you were successful too!

Here's to another good week. Keep up your good work. Hey, it's starting to get nice. Time to start thinking about taking those walks and bike rides. :)

Walgreens' Corporate Coupon Policy IS LIVE!!!

** I just wanted to repost this for those of you maybe wanting to try the B1G1 free Right Guard at Walgreens and had some questions. It is clearly stated in their policy that you can do it, but you really should print their policy out and have it with you JUST in case you run into problems.

Wahoo! FINALLY, Walgreens has a printable coupon policy! Here is what I got from their (Walgreens) website.

As a customer-focused retailer, Walgreens encourages the use of coupons by our customers in our retail stores, in accordance with the following guidelines.

Guidelines:

General

All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier at the time of checkout.

Walgreens does not accept expired coupons.

Coupons and their face value cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.

Competitor coupons are not accepted at Walgreens.

Walgreens cannot accept coupons for items not carried in our stores.

The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register RewardsTM manufacturer coupons, may not exceed the number of items in the transaction. The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction. Sales tax must be paid, if required by state law.
Any coupon offer not covered in these guidelines will be accepted at the discretion of Walgreens management.

Sale Items
Walgreens will accept manufacturer coupons for an item that is on sale.
In the event that any item's selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.

Multiple Coupons
When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
The coupon amount must be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).

When purchasing multiple items, Walgreens accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified. Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased.

Buy One, Get One Free Coupons

When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.

Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offers, if required by applicable state laws.

Internet/Print at Home Coupons
Walgreens accepts valid internet/print at home coupons.

Register RewardsTM coupons
Earning Register RewardsTM
Register RewardsTM will only print for in-stock merchandise during the promotional period.

Register RewardsTM can only be earned for eligible items. No substitutions.
There is a limit of one Register RewardsTM (RR) printed per offer per customer per transaction.
Customers redeeming a Register RewardsTM against the same offer may not receive another RR.

Redeeming Register RewardsTM

Customers redeeming a Register RewardsTM against the same offer may not receive another RR.
Refer to Register RewardsTM coupon for expiration date.
The RR coupon value cannot exceed the total purchase amount. No cash back and no cash value for RR coupon.
The number of manufacturer coupons, including RR manufacturer coupons, must not exceed the number of items in the transaction.
Register RewardsTM must be forfeited if the qualifying merchandise is returned.

Register RewardsTM cannot be used toward the purchase of gift cards and pre-paid cards.

Register RewardsTM can be redeemed for eligible items only. Ineligible items include but are not limited to:

Cheryl

I just really really

want to take the time out and give you all an apology. I know I have been very sporadic in my posts this past week, but I have had a TON of stuff going on over here. I have had something negatively impact my life EVERYDAY this past week. I have just been having a hard time keeping up with things. A couple of the things that have happened are my kiddos have decided to trade sicknesses and my computer puked, and multiple multiple other issues.

You ever just have those days/weeks where you just want to crawl back in bed and not wake-up until "the storm" passes? Well, that is me. I don't mean to whine. That is not my intention. I know that my problems are NOTHING compared to what others have going on, but what is going on my life currently is not letting me attend to my blog and you all, like I feel I should.

I did have to order a new computer, so I will not have it for another 7 to 10 days (and I'm pretty ticked at myself because I forgot to go through my Shop at Home account):(. So, if you would just please be patient with me for a little while longer, I will get back on top of it. I'm just going through a little bit of a rough patch right now. :(

I'm still going to post, but I just wanted to let you all know what was going on JUST in case I didn't post very much.

Anyway, I am sorry for not being there like I should be this past week.

Thanks!

**Tsunami Advisory for Pacific Ocean

This is all courtesy of Khq.com as of 6:27 this morning.....

Tsunami Advisory For Pacific Ocean
Updated: Mar 11, 2011 6:20 AM PST
HONOLULU (AP) -  A tsunami warning has been expanded to include the entire western U.S. coast. The Tsunami Warning Center says the warning is in effect for California, Oregon, Washington and southern Alaska. Warnings were issued for Hawaii and other parts of the Pacific following a tsunami early Friday after a massive earthquake struck in Japan. Tsunami warnings are issued due to the imminent threat of a tsunami.  A tsunami is expected to hit the Hawaiian Islands at 5:00 A.M. PST. A wave is expected to hit the Oregon and Washington coast lines around 7:00 A.M

In case you haven't heard, there was a huge earthquake in Japan which was followed by a Tsunami and as of this morning they were calculating multiple deaths...

Please keep them in your prayers.

I will post most of this aweful news in a separate post.

Deadly Quake and Tsnuami Hit Japan

Here is a some info that I got off of KHQ.com

Tokyo (CNN) -- The most powerful earthquake to hit Japan in at least 100 years unleashed walls of water Friday that swept across rice fields, engulfing towns, dragging houses onto highways and tossing cars and boats like toys, apparently killing hundreds.
Prime Minister Naoto Kan said the "enormously powerful" earthquake has caused "tremendous damage over a wide area."
The quake, which struck at 2:46 pm local time, sparked fires in at least 80 locations, Japan's Kyodo News Service reported, and prompted the U.S. National Weather Service to issue tsunami warnings for at least 50 countries and territories.

Plum District

Have you heard of Plum District? Well, if you haven't, it is another daily deal site that has some AWESOME deals from time-to-time (at least for me). The deals are very very family orientated. I have purchased a couple of deals from them. Anyway, they are running a promo today that if I can get at least four people JUST to sign up AND confirm their sign-up, then they will send me a $20 gift card to Target! I like that! YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING, you just need to sign up. AND, when you sign-up you will get a $5 credit to your account to use on your first purchase within the next 7 days! THAT'S A FREE FIVE-BUCKS! Oh, they are telling me that in order to get the FREE $5, you will need to sign-up through this link (yah, it's my link), but it is the link you need in order to get in on this. Those $5 credits come in real handy. I used one recently and scored a regluarly priced $20 item that was on a daily deal site for $10, and I got it for $5 using my credit. Niice!

Anyway, if you would like to go sign-up and help me reach my four sign-ups, just go on over here and get yourself signed up and get your $5 credit too!

Thanks everyone!!!

Cheryl
