Monday Weigh-In Report

Well……I met with “him” yesterday. Yah, that would be with Mr. Scale…..He wasn’t very nice. I think he’s mad at me. He was likin’ on me just a few weeks ago and now THIS! Maybe he got wind that I really don’t like him and that I am REALLY in love with Zumba! ;)

Well, we had my son, Trent’s, birthday party and I tried to do good, but had a little cake and a piece of pizza on the day before weigh-in. I think that had something to do with it. I’m thinking I was retaining a little water. At least that is what I am hopin’ because I did do good again last week.

Anyway, I went to him and he said….”up 1 pound.” Yah, I’m not too happy about that. :( I am pretty ticked about it.

So, here’s what I am going to do this week…..I AM GOING TO STAY ON PLAN ALL WEEK AND TRACK ALL WEEK! I do have to miss Zumba on Thursday this week, but I am going for TWO HOURS tomorrow and try to get “other” activity in. So, we’ll see.

Any of you want to join us tomorrow. You can come for two hours or you can come for one. The first session starts at 6 and the other session starts at 7. The cost is $3!

Heads up

My new computer arrived last night and this one "my Pinto" is officially puking. Everyday it gets worse and worse. Oh, you don't even want to know what it has been pulling. Anyway, I am about ready to pull my hair out trying to deal with this, well......to be nice...computer. Anyway, I am in the process of trying to get my new "Lexus" up and ready to go. So, as you can see I have not gotten much posted these past few days. I really really am sorry, but I do have "issues." :)

Anyway, I also wanted to share with you that today my son, Trent, is 12. Wow, I REALLY can't believe how time flies. It makes me sooooo sad. I want to keep him little forever. I want to keep them all little forever.

Anyway, if I don't get to post anymore.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY! I love you!!!

Monday Weigh-In Report

Well.......I'm thinking Mr. Scale was in a bit of a mood when visiting with him on Sunday, as he was a bit sassy. :( Grump! Well, I have to honestly say that I DID DAMN good last week! I STILL ate good and got some GREAT activity in with my "new addiction," Zumba! I have to say that I got my mama to go. hehe :) No, really it is GREAT fun and she likes it too! Yay! Anyway, with all of my "greatness" last week, well....he wasn't happy.

I got on and he said....."up 0.8 pounds." Well, much to my surprise, I was not upset AT ALL! My pattern of weight loss, in the past, when I was doing good, was that I would lose for a few weeks and then be up, just a tad, teeny, weeny bit, like yesterday. So, I am hoping that I will lose that and then some this week. We'll see..... I know, in my heart, that I did good last week. I just have to keep pluggin' away, knowing that I did good and will continue to do good. This is a TOTALLY different attitude than I had in the past. Before, I used to get really upset and then let it ruin my day and it didn't this time. Wow! I find that kind of different. I hope this means I am on the right track again. I have been off track for a while now, and I am REALLY hoping that I'm back. I made it through week three and four and still feel like I have the MOJO, so maybe....just maybe......

I feel pretty lucky because my Zumba instructor is actually offering Zumba THREE nights this week, which I will be attending all three, so that is EVEN a little more activity for me. Yay!!!

You know, I have discovered one thing about me, during these last four weeks......I think I have discovered that I don't like running anymore. I have found that I look at it like I "have" to do and it is a chore. So, for now, I'm taking a break from running. I'm not closing my mind off to it, but just taking a break from it as I am not enjoying it as much anymore. I think I am STILL going to do the Community Fun Run next month, maybe just not run it. I don't know. When I get out there, it is usually hard for me to walk and I really want to run. So, we'll see......

Anyway, how did you do on your plan this past week?

We have been going through toothbrushes like crazy over here, with all the sickness that has been going around our house. Let me start off by telling you that I have one happy little man on my hands right now! :) He is a HUGE Star Wars fan and while I was looking for other things to spend my $10 coupon on he saw these and fell IN LOVE! I usually do not give into my kiddos if they ask for something at the store, especially when I'm on a mission with a coupon. I was looking for hats and gloves and stuff like that for next winter (YOU CAN USE THIS ON CLEARANCE TOO), because I haven't picked any up yet. I had a whole bunch of things picked out and carrying them with me, trying to get up to $10. Right? You got a coupon for $10.  Well, you know what that means to me? It means that I have to get to $10 and not too much over either. My mission is to not spend very much money. :) Well, I don't know what it was today, but something just struck me and he just made my heart melt when he saw those Star Wars undies. So, I figured "hey, JUST DO IT!" So, I DID IT! I retraced my steps through the store, put all of my things that I had gathered up back, one-by-one. We went back and grabbed the undies and he was SOOOOOO excited, but it was only $9.37. So, I found the little hair bow, for Faith, for $1.20! That's pretty good.

Well.....he was sooo excited when we got out to the van. THEN, when we got home he had to try every single pair on before putting them in the wash. He now is on cloud nine! You know, that REALLY made my day! It also provided a nice way to talk to him about the use of coupons and how GREAT they are. So, he is EVEN more appreciative of mama's "cute pons," as he would say.

Safeway Run....

Gosh, I am still sooooooo tired. I don't know about you, but I'm still dragging. I just can't convince this ol' body of mine that the time change was okay. I try to limit myself to one coffee a day, but I'm thinking I'm gonna have another cup......Anyway, Blakey and I headed out this morning to "try" the McCormick deal at Safeway, and here is what we came away with.....

Well, let me just say that things didn't go as planned. I messed up AGAIN!!! I was just too excited to see if this would work or not. The deal was supposed to be buy three get the Catalina back for $2.50. Well, I bought four, plus the one crusting (which I didn't think it, the crusting, would work towards the Catalina, but it was only $0.99 after my coupon and I was using four $1.25 Catalinas so it would pay for it). Anyway, I GOT NO CATALINA BACK. :( So, my guess is that the Grinders are not part of this deal. I did put a call into Catalina to see and they are supposed to call me back on Monday with clarification. I have a feeling they are not part of the deal. :( Bummer.... That's okay, I will still use them. We go through garlic salt around here like no tomorrow. WE LOVE IT!! I put it in just about EVERYTHING. So, this was a nice way for me to score some FREE garlic salt. And, the crusting....well.....it just looked good. I wanted to give it a try. It doesn't look like it will be too bad in the points department for my daily calorie budget. :)

Hey all..

I am still busy with work over here. Hopefully, things will be better when my new computer gets here. Anyway, I just wanted to give you all an update and let you know that I am just busy with work right now and it is not as easy for me to post with this computer not working to full capacity. uggg! My Java is "broke" and we have tried lots of things to get it fixed. The gentleman that was looking at my computer has suggested that we "wipe" it. :( I don't really want to do that, but it sounds like IS necessary. So, we are going to wait until the "other" one gets here before we do that though. I WISH IT WOULD HURRY UP AND GET HERE THOUGH! 'Cause this really stinks.
