Swagbucks 2nd Birthday!

Today, is Swagbucks 2nd birthday, which is great for us because they are giving us more Swagbucks than normal throughout the day.

If you have not heard of Swagbucks or have not signed up yet, DO IT. It is a great way to earn FREE money just for doing searches on the Internet and other ways too. You can earn from 1 up to 100 swagbucks at any given time when you search. You don't earn every single time, but they are easy to earn. Then, when you get so many then you can cash them in for many things. For instance, you can redeem some of your Swagbucks for an Amazon gift card, Paypal money, Starbucks gift cards, etc. They have soooooo many different ways to spend and earn, most of all IT'S FREE to us. You just have to go in and sign up, plus if you go sign up today, they will start you off with 30 Swagbucks instead of 1 (I think it was 1 or 3). Wow, what a deal! Then, if you sign up through me, you help me earn Swagbucks too. Just go click on the Swagbuck widget off to the right of this blog and it will take you there.

I am going to try to save my Swagbucks this year for Christmas shopping. Yeah, I am so excited.

If you click here, this will tell you a little about it too.

Today,

I am going to be in an out for most of the day as it is my little guy's birthday and I am going to spend the day with him. Don't know what we are going to do yet, but we are just going to spend some quality time together. Wow, he is turning 4, I can't believe it. Time just flies when you are having fun. Maybe we'll go shopping. :)

Anyway, I just wanted to put that out there as I will not be doing very many posts today, but will be back tomorrow in full swing.

Thanks and I hope you have a GREAT day!

Need Dinner in a Pinch?

Well, go on over here to the Betty Crocker website. Go click on Easy Meal Finder. It is a great tool. It asks you to enter up to three ingredients that you have on hand. You input the ingredients that you have and then it comes back with recipes that you can make and they are EASY! I did this last night and came up with a GREAT tasting dinner. My kids LOVED it. This is what we came up with...

Yep, it looked just like that. :) No, I'm kidding. Here is the recipe if you are interested. I made up my own variation of it and we just loved it. This is what I did and made it to about 4 points for my whole dinner.

I cooked up the chicken like it says, but used a little "healthy" oil instead of butter. Then, I have my own stash of a homemade "cream of" soup that I use when something calls for "cream of" soup or gravy, like this one calls for. It is pretty much "free" in points. Then, I cut up some potatoes, carrots, brocolli, and mushrooms. I really LIKE garlic, so I added in some garlic powder and garlic salt (yep, I LOVE salt too). Anyway, we ate this over one cup of bulgar and there you have it. That was my yummy BIG dinner at about 4 points. I cut the chicken breasts in half as they were quite big. I figured 2 points for the chicken, 1 point for the veggies (because of the potato), and 1 point for the one cup of bulgar. Yum, it was so tasty. Anyway, just thought I would share.

Thanks!
