Winco=Cheap Nestle Drumsticks
Well, with the sunshine that we had yesterday. Yep, yesterday. :( Well, anyway, with the soon-to-be "hot" weather, it is going to be ice cream season. Well, while I was at Winco I was checking some of their prices on things and one of the items I discovered was that they have the Nestle Drumsticks priced at $2.50 a box. Use this coupon for $1/1 or use the $1/1 coupon from 5/2 SS, making them only $1.50 a box! Wow! That is a GREAT price.
Thanks!

Winco News
I had stated last week that I would try to get to Winco and try to find out some coupon news. Well, I was just in there (Sprague) today and asked the nice lady at customer service (I can't remember her name)........
1. Anyway, I asked her if, as a couponer, we could stack coupons (I explained what stacking was, using a manufacturer coupon in addition to a Winco coupon together for one item) at Winco and she said......................ready...............***YES***. She said that "we are starting to do that now."
2. They DO take "internet" coupons. The only reason why they would not except it is if it does not scan, which is pretty common practice.
3. I did ask if there was a way to get on their mailing list, so everyone could get their AWESOME coupons that come in the mail occasionally. She said that there was NO way that we could do that, as they don't have a mailing system. Apparently, they only send out coupons on "special" occasions as they do NOT advertise. She did say that the reason why we got those coupons last week in the mail was becuase it was a "special" occasion. It was the year anniversary of "our" store opening, and so that is why we got the mailer with all the great coupons last week.
There you go. I hope that information helps.
I also asked if there was a written coupon policy and there is not one, as this "coupon thing" is new to them.
Thanks!

Target
Yep, I was at it again this morning.:) I took us to Target AGAIN. They had some of that Shout in FINALLY. I was very very happy. So, I bought 4 of them. They still had some left by the time I was leaving. If any of you had that Infusium coupon too for $3/1, they finally had some of that in too. I bought one. Oh, they are priced at $2.98 or something like that. They ARE under $3. I did manage to take a look at their prices on the Pampers wipes and they are priced at $2.39. So, if you use your coupon from this last weekend's P&G for $2/1, that makes the wipes only $0.39. Remember Walmart is $1.97, but they were running pretty low yesterday, while I was there.
I did manage to check the price on their Olay Effects Body Wash and the cheapest I found was $5.50. If you use your $4/1 from this last weekend's P&G insert, that makes them still $1.50. In my opinion, I would wait and see if you could find it cheaper elsewhere. This was their regular price OR maybe just wait until Target has a price-cut on them (hopefully, before they expire).
They still managed to have quite a few Littlest Pet Shop Toys on clearance for $1.97. Use this B1G1 Free Littlest Pet Shop Coupon, making them $0.99 each. That is a pretty sweat deal.
Thank you!

Recipe=Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce
I'm sure many of you have tried this, but I just wanted to share it just in case there is someone out there that might be interested in something like this. Just a little FYI, I have NOT tried this recipe yet, but I am going to give a try this week sometime.
Anyway, here goes.....
Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce
1/4 cup of Splenda (you may need to add a touch more)
1/4 cup of water
1 cup of rhubarb (diced)
2 cups of straberries (diced)
1 Tbls lemon juice
That is it! Combine the Splenda and water in a small pan. Bring it all to a boil and then boil for 2 or 3 minutes. Stir in the rhubarb and simmer for 3 or so minutes. Stir in the straberries and simmer for a minute longer. Remove from heat and then stir in lemon juice.
This makes three servings and is 0 POINTS!!! YES, IT'S FREE!!!!! :) I am going to try mine over a toasted sandwich thin for 1 point OR maybe even over a half of a sandwich thin for 0.5 point.
Thanks!
Cheryl
P.S. If you try this out, please share your opinion. I would love to hear it. Anybody need rubarb?

Walmart = Free Pampers Wipes
Yep, I took Blakey and I to Walmart today as I am in DESPERATE need of some tomato plants. Mine, that I had started inside, did not make it. Well, while I was there I thought I would check it out and see if "our" Walmart was having that Pampers wipes sale like some of the other bloggers are posting about. Well, sure enough, they did. The wipes were 72-count (the coupon is for 62 count and higher) and they were on rollback for $1.97. The coupon is in this past Sunday's P&G and it is for $2, making them FREE!! So, while I was there I picked up three packages of wipes and a bunch of tomato plants. If you are interested in this deal, they were running pretty low.
Thanks!

Dept. Store Deal of The Week
This week our deal is at Walgreens. They have an in-ad coupon for Bayer at $0.99. Go on over here and print out a coupon for Bayer for $1/1. Stack these two coupons to make for free Bayer. Remember that you can use these together because the one in the ad is a Walgreens coupon and the one you printed is a manufacture coupon. Make sure that you hand over your manufacturer coupon first, so that the coupon doesn't beep and cause you problems.
