Doublers this weekend?

Joelle over at The Coupon Posse' shared with me, this morning, that it is lookin' like we are going to get "doublers" this weekend. I sure hope so! I am missing them. Walmart

I was in at Walmart last night. A couple of things that I verified....

Kraft Dressing was $1.50-Use your $1/1 coupon from insert a couple of weeks ago and get for $0.50 a bottle.

That new Kraft Mayo (oh, I forget what it is called). You know, the ones that they have been giving samples of out recently? The ones with the flavors of garlic and chipotle. Well, anyway, those are also $1.50. Again, use the coupon out of a recent insert (I can't remember which one) and it makes them only $0.50 a bottle. If you haven't tried these, I think they are pretty yummy.

The Mariani Dried Fruit is $1.98. Use this coupon for $1.75/2, makes them about $1.10 each.

Planter's Grove Almonds are $2.50. Use this coupon and it makes them $1.

They did have the Benadryl Sticks for $2.28, but they were all out.

Kmart Doubles Event

Wow! It looks like Kmart is having another Doubles Event starting 7/4 and going through 7/10. It looks like they are only doubling Health&Beauty products though, no grocery items at this time. If you don't remember how this works or are new to this. Kmart runs a promo, every once-in-awhile, called the Doubles Event. They will double coupons up to a $2 value, which means you could get up to $4 off of one product. They only allow five coupons to be doubled a day, per customer. AND you HAVE TO HAVE their Shop Your
Way Rewards card in order to do this. If you don't, here are a few ways to get it now.....

~You can go to the customer service dept at your local Kmart or Sears store and request a card; you will be able to sign up and receive your card immediately.
~ You can call the Shop Your Way Rewards Card dept at 1-800-991-8708, and they will take all your information over the phone and then a card will be mailed to you (the usually takes 6-8 weeks to arrive). Even if you do not have the physical card in hand for the double coupon days, you can give the cashier your phone # or member # in order to pull up your reward’s account.
~ You you can go here to sign up on-line; then just print off a temporary card to use while you wait for the permanent card to arrive in the mail.

So, if you are interested in this promo and want to check and see if your store is participating, just go on over here and check. This is a list of all the stores that are participating in this "event."

** I did double check and the Kmarts on Sprague and Division ARE participating in this event. Just a hint of advice though. Those of us that did participate last time in this event, found that it was easier for us to go during the earlier morning hours as the cashiers were are little more friendly and were a little more knowledgeable. Plus, if you have any problems the daytime manager should be there.

Kraft Independence Day at Walmart-Report

Well, I took the kiddos on an outing today. :) We went to Kraft Independence Day at Walmart. Well, there is not much to report. There were no coupons. :( They did, however, have samples of some All Natural Peanut Butter with a slice of apple, two different kinds of Goldfish, two samples of the new Dentyne Gum, a little cupful of the Kool-Aid stuff, some of the mint chocolate mousse stuff, and a couple of little slices of cheese with bacon pieces in it. The kids had a blast! It was CraZy in there though. There were a TON of shoppers. I did manage to spend $1.64 on one 2-liter of Diet Dr Pepper, two Taco Bell taco seasonings, and two Hunt's Ketchup. Not bad.

Anyway, just thought I would share what we came across today.

I will be in and out again all day today as I am still on "vacation." My husband had to go back to work, so it is just the kiddos and I today.
