Target coupons

Target released a bunch of new coupons recently, but I just wanted to share with you what I found while while sitting here taking a look at them as they look a little different. So, in the fine print they now say....
"Limit one identicial offer per transaction." So, I just wanted to share with you just in case you came into any "situations."

Thanks!

ANOTHER Tylenol Recall!

Tylenol has announced ANOTHER recall!

This is from their website:.....

MCNEIL CONSUMER HEALTHCARE ANNOUNCES VOLUNTARY RECALL OF CERTAIN OVER-THE-COUNTER (OTC) PRODUCTS IN THE UNITED STATES, FIJI, GUATEMALA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, PUERTO RICO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO, AND JAMAICA

FORT WASHINGTON, PA (July 8, 2010) – McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., is recalling 21 lots of over-the-counter medicines. The lots involved, listed below, are sold in the United States, Fiji, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, and Jamaica. This action is a follow-up to a product recall that McNeil Consumer Healthcare originally announced on January 15, 2010, which was initiated following consumer complaints of a musty or moldy odor, which has been linked to the presence of trace amounts of a chemical called 2,4,6-tribromoanisole (TBA). The risk of serious adverse medical events is remote. This recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

These lots are being added to the list of recalled products as a precautionary measure after a continuing internal review determined that some packaging materials used in the lots had been shipped and stored on the same type of wooden pallet that was tied to the presence of TBA in earlier recalled lots. All lots involved in the recall were produced before the January 15, 2010 recall, after which McNeil stopped accepting shipments of materials from its suppliers on that type of pallet.

Consumers who purchased product from the lots included in this recall should stop using the product and contact McNeil Consumer Healthcare for instructions on a refund or replacement. For these instructions, and information regarding how to return or dispose of the product, consumers should log on to the internet at http://www.mcneilproductrecall.com/ or call 1-888-222-6036 (Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time, and Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time). Consumers who have medical concerns or questions should contact their healthcare provider.

Any adverse reactions may also be reported to the FDA’s MedWatch Program by fax at 1-800-FDA-0178, by mail at MedWatch, HF-2, FDA, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD 20852-9787, or on the MedWatch website at www.fda.gov/safety/medwatch/default.htm.

The product lot numbers for the recalled products can be found on the side of the bottle label.

Gevalia=3 boxes of coffee for $3

Hey, I just found out this morning that Gevalia is still offering 3 boxes of coffee for $3. This includes shipping too.  Plus, you also get a FREE stainless steel travel mug! If you have been following along, you might remember that I did this deal a couple of months ago and it truly was only $3. If you are not familiar with Gevalia, it is a coffee/tea company that once you signup you are signing up for like a coffee-of-the-month kind of deal. Their coffee and tea can be pricey, but very yummy. Anyway, all you have to do when you get your order is call and cancel your subscription. IT IS SOOO EASY! They are really nice too! This would really make for a nice gift too.

Walmart

I was in at Walmart last night. A couple of things that I verified....

Kraft Dressing was $1.50-Use your $1/1 coupon from insert a couple of weeks ago and get for $0.50 a bottle.

That new Kraft Mayo (oh, I forget what it is called). You know, the ones that they have been giving samples of out recently? The ones with the flavors of garlic and chipotle. Well, anyway, those are also $1.50. Again, use the coupon out of a recent insert (I can't remember which one) and it makes them only $0.50 a bottle. If you haven't tried these, I think they are pretty yummy.

The Mariani Dried Fruit is $1.98. Use this coupon for $1.75/2, makes them about $1.10 each.

Planter's Grove Almonds are $2.50. Use this coupon and it makes them $1.

They did have the Benadryl Sticks for $2.28, but they were all out.

Thanks!

Kmart Doubles Event

Wow! It looks like Kmart is having another Doubles Event starting 7/4 and going through 7/10. It looks like they are only doubling Health&Beauty products though, no grocery items at this time. If you don't remember how this works or are new to this. Kmart runs a promo, every once-in-awhile, called the Doubles Event. They will double coupons up to a $2 value, which means you could get up to $4 off of one product. They only allow five coupons to be doubled a day, per customer. AND you HAVE TO HAVE their Shop Your
Way Rewards card in order to do this. If you don't, here are a few ways to get it now.....

~You can go to the customer service dept at your local Kmart or Sears store and request a card; you will be able to sign up and receive your card immediately.
~ You can call the Shop Your Way Rewards Card dept at 1-800-991-8708, and they will take all your information over the phone and then a card will be mailed to you (the usually takes 6-8 weeks to arrive). Even if you do not have the physical card in hand for the double coupon days, you can give the cashier your phone # or member # in order to pull up your reward’s account.
~ You you can go here to sign up on-line; then just print off a temporary card to use while you wait for the permanent card to arrive in the mail.

So, if you are interested in this promo and want to check and see if your store is participating, just go on over here and check. This is a list of all the stores that are participating in this "event."

** I did double check and the Kmarts on Sprague and Division ARE participating in this event. Just a hint of advice though. Those of us that did participate last time in this event, found that it was easier for us to go during the earlier morning hours as the cashiers were are little more friendly and were a little more knowledgeable. Plus, if you have any problems the daytime manager should be there.

Kraft Independence Day at Walmart-Report

Well, I took the kiddos on an outing today. :) We went to Kraft Independence Day at Walmart. Well, there is not much to report. There were no coupons. :( They did, however, have samples of some All Natural Peanut Butter with a slice of apple, two different kinds of Goldfish, two samples of the new Dentyne Gum, a little cupful of the Kool-Aid stuff, some of the mint chocolate mousse stuff, and a couple of little slices of cheese with bacon pieces in it. The kids had a blast! It was CraZy in there though. There were a TON of shoppers. I did manage to spend $1.64 on one 2-liter of Diet Dr Pepper, two Taco Bell taco seasonings, and two Hunt's Ketchup. Not bad.

Anyway, just thought I would share what we came across today.

Thanks!

Cheryl

Kraft Independence Day at Walmart

**Reminder**. This actually kicks off TODAY, July 1st....

Walmart will be hosting a Kraft Independence Day sampling event from July 1-3. Make sure you go over here to see if your local Walmart is participating in this event. Here is a list of a few of the items up for sampling....

Hot Dogs (Angus Bun Length Hot Dogs)
Kool Aid Fun Fizz
Crystal Light Pure
Dentyne Pure
Oreo Fudge Cremes
Ritz Munchables Pretzel Thins
Jello Mousse (Mint)
100 Calorie Cheese Bites

Who knows, maybe these might come with coupons?

**I did check to see if our local, Spokane, Walmarts will be participating and YES they ARE participating in this event. It runs all three days, July 1 through July 3rd, from 11-4. The Post Falls store is participating as well.

Thanks Clippin' With Carie!
