Old Navy Sale=Up to 80% Off!!

Remember how I was telling you all about Old Navy earlier this week? Well, guess what? If you want in on the sale, YOU CAN GET IN ON THE SALE! :) Yippe! starting today January 14th through January 17th, ALL Old Navy stores in the U.S. and Canada will be hosting a "Practically Free-For-All” Clearance Sale. :)You’ll be able to get up to 80% off when you take an extra 40% off already reduced items (like I did earlier this week to score some CHEAP wintercoats for the kids). One thing to remember is that this is valid in-store only. Go on over here to their Facebook page for more information.

Remember that if you DO go to make sure you dig up a coupon here from Barker's Bones. I dug one up that I used with my purchase and it was for $15 off of a $75 or more purchase. It was well worth it! :) If you do go, I would love to hear/see what you were able to score.

Okay, have fun!

Albertsons Liberty Lake

Well, I went out to visit my friends out at Liberty Lake Albertson's this afternoon. My friend was in there last night and was telling me about some great (clearance) deals that she had come across and so I wanted to go out, use my doublers, and see if I could find what she did. I was not able to, but did come across a few AWESOME deals.

I don't know about you, but I was sooooooo excited when we got doublers in Wednesday's paper, but then looking at the ad I was a bit bummed 'cause I felt like there was nothing for "me."

Anyway, I went out there and here's the scoop......

Kellogg's 2 for $5
Frosted Flakes
Rice Kirsipies
Froot Loops
Nutri-Grain Bars
Cinnabon Bars
Pop-Tarts 12 ct
Pop-Tarts Mini
Crisps
Rice Krispies Treat
Fruit Snacks

Keebler 2 for $5
Crakcer Packs
El Fudge or Fudge Shoppe Cookies
Right Bites
Sunshine Cheez-It
Keebler Fudge Shoppe Cookies are 2 for $5

Buy 6 participating Kellogg's or Keebler products in a single transaction using your Albertsons card and get FREE milk!

Buy 6 and get "FREE" milk right? Well, guess what? You don't have to buy the milk! It just takes $6 off of your order! Plus, if you have coupons you can use them and double them and make your OOP even cheapear.

Here is a scenario they have in the store for you.

Buy....
Cheeze-IT X4
ANY Kellogg's cereal (last night it was JUST Crispix?) for $2.50 each
-$6 Kellogg's savings
-in store coupon for FREE cereal (from cashier)
= Pay $4, making them just $0.66 each! You can't double any of these as these are FREE item coupons.

Keebler Fudge Shoppe Cookies $2.50 X2
- $1/2 from cashier X3
-$6 Kellogg's savings
-3 doublers
= $3, making them only $0.50 each!!!!

I didn't take a picture but I went out today and bought

Transaction #1
Emerald Nuts 2 for $4 X3
-$1/1 printable X3
-3 doublers
=FREE

TOOP-ZERO!!

Transaction #2
Emerald Nuts 2 for $4 X1
-$1/1 printable X1
-1 doubler

HolidayKleenex $0.50 X3
-$0.50/3 from insert
-1 doubler
=$0.50

TOOP= $0.63 ($0.13 of that was tax)

Transaction #3
Keebler $2.50 X6
-$1/2 from cashier X3
-$6 Kellogg's savings
-3 doublers

TOOP=$3.00!

So, today at Alberstons I saved a total of $50.57! I spent OOP $3.63! WOW!!!

Okay, good luck!

Make sure that if you are out in the Valley and if you want AWESOME service to check out the Albertsons at Liberty Lake. They are AWESOME out there!

Thanks Corey!!

Rite Aid Shopping Trip

Well......I did it.....I took myself out shopping today in all of this icky weather. If you know me at all, I don't like driving, let alone driving in the snow and freezing rain. I did pretty good though. Only once did I almost get stuck. If I did, I figured it was about time for Blakey to learn to push. :) I'm kidding. :) Anyway, I had to go to Winco as I REALLY wanted to make some of that fried rice (I'm going to do bulgar as it is more point friendly) that Happy Money Saver has on her blog. I needed to get some of that chicken soup base (by the way if you are looking for that stuff it is in the bulk section and costs about $3-something a pound. It's pretty spendy, but I'm thinking it will last me a while.

Okay, here is what I got at Rite Aid....

3-prong folders $0.99 X2
no coupon (I don't know why I was trying, but I was trying to see if they were still working for the $2 +UP reward. This is the third time I have tried this. Yes, I am a slow learner, as they still are NOT.)
=$1.98

Finesse Hairspray $3.99 X2
-B1G1 free
-$1.50/1 from insert that we did not get (I ordered it a while back) X2
= $0.99, making them $0.49 each!

Finesse Mousse $3.99 X2
-B1G1 free
-$1.50/1 from insert that we did not get (I ordered it a while back) X2
= $0.99, making them $0.49 each!

Tylenol Precise Pain Cream $5 X2
-$6/2 from last week's insert
=$4, making them $2 each!

Extra Gum $1.29 X8
-B1G1 free
-B1G1 free from tearpad found at Yoke's a while back (for the one I am "paying" for)
= FREE

-$8 in +UP

= TOOP $0.60 ($2.30 including tax).

Got (2) $3 +Up Rewards back from the Tylenol Precise for a profit! Yay!

Thanks!

Cheryl

Target Clearance

Blakey and I DID head out to Target today. I wanted to see if they had their "guys" coats on clearance yet (for my older son), see what the toys were at, and see IF we were lucky enough to be able to get Twilight Saga for 2 bucks.

Well, the Twilight Saga was a no-deal. It was on sale for what it said, anywhere from $19.99 to $26.99 for the Blu-Ray. Toys were still at 30 to 50% off. I'm picky, 50% off is WAYYYY TOOOOOO EXPENSIVE FOR ME. ;) I'm cheap! I went to see what the coats were at and they were only 50% off. I was torn, because they had some REALLY nice coats that I think my son would like, but they were at $30. I REALLY don't like the idea of paying $30, so I got out the cell phone and called my hubby at work (sorry Ry), but I need him to talk me back to reality sometimes. I don't know about you, but sometimes I get caught up in the heat of things and I need him to calm me down or to at least make me realize it is not the ONLY sale we are going to come across. So, this coat that I wanted for my, like I said was 30 bucks. My husband had suggested that we wait until this weekend and go and check Burlington Coat Factory out. "Maybe they will have some of THEIR stuff on clearance?" Well, I tell him "okay, I'm gonna put the TWO coats back that I was toggling with." Well, I niced the ladies there with their little scan guns. They were workin' away and chattin' it up, so I thought "you know, I'm gonna JUST ask and see......." So, I ask the lady if they are marking this rack down more. She says, "well, let me see whatcha got." Okay, so I take my stuff to her and I think I probably scared her and I was REALLY doing the happy dance. She scanned it and said, "yep, looks like it went to 75% off." WAHOO!!!! Now, I have to call my hubby back again to tell him what just happened and to let him know I AM GETTIN' THE COAT FOR 15-BUCKS!!! This coat was normally $60! I think I can spare the $15! Now, I just wait for my son to get home and "hope" (fingers crossed) that he likes it.

Anyway, my point here is that Target on Sprague had some girls coats, boys coats were not quite 75% off (a couple of them were), and mens coats are 75% off now!

This is the price tag for the coat!
Check the shoes too! I got Faith and Blake a pair each, $5 each!

Oh, the lightbulbs with this coupon and the coupon from last week's Smart Source for $1/1 GE Reveal were only $0.44 each.

So, my total today without my coupons and MAJOR clearance find would have been $82.65. I paid $27.44 (including $2.36 tax)! I saved $55.21!

Thanks!

Cheryl

Old Navy Sale

I had heard, through the grapevine, that Old Navy was having an awesome sale on their clearance. I heard that they were having a sale of another 40% off of their already clearanced prices. Well, this is that time of the year that I usually try to go out and buy the kiddos their winter coat for next winter. I usually go to Target, but I thought that I would stop by Old Navy first to check and see what maybe they had to offer. Well........I'm not so sure that was a very good idea.....

I got all of this for $67.58!

Well, I found a couple more items. ;) I REALLY couldn't help myself, as this is also the time of year that I start buying school-clothes too! Plus, this coming year, instead of having to buy for two kiddos, I have to buy for three, as Blakey is going to be starting school too! As you can see I found A LOT of stuff for Faith and a couple of things for the boys. My older son is a little harder as he is getting to that age where it matters what he wears. He has a "reputation to keep up." :) Blakey, I'm just thinking everyone else in town with little boys all wear the same size he does. It is always hard to find clearanced clothes for him, but I DID find two pairs of shoes for him...welll.....and a pair of boots for Faith.

Okay, BUT I did do what I set out to do (two hours later). I bought Faith and Blake their winter coats for next winter. Hers, the pretty pink one, was originally $49.50! No way, no how would I EVER pay that for a coat for a little person. I paid, $6.61! Blakey, his coat was originally $59.50! Again, NO WAY, NO HOW EVER would I pay that either! I paid $7.59! I saved $94.80, just for the coats! Now, I have to tell you that I actually spent $82.58 before tax. Then, I had my Old Navy coupon that I dug up from Barker's Bones for $15 off of $75. Then, my order came down to $67.58! That averages out to be about $3.23 for each item I purchased! Wow, that is AWESOME! So, without the coupon, her coat would have cost me $8.09 and his would have cost me $9.29! Not too shabby! My receipt says I saved $70.18, but I saved more because it didn't take it off of the original price. I will try to figure it out and share with you what the actual numbers were.

I calculated everything and without the sale and coupon, my transaction would have cost me $424.50. I saved $357.00! Wow, now that's frugal!

Anyway, I was talking to the lady at the counter and she said that today was "supposed" to be the last day of the sale, but she wasn't sure as there was so much that they had in stock that it might have to go longer. If I were you, and if you are interested I would call first to see if they are still having their sale. They just might be. :) By the way, this was out at the Valley Mall.

Thank you!

Cheryl
