My shopping trips....

I have to admit that I wasn't going to post this as these sales ended yesterday, except for the Walgreens one, but I did so darn good that I really really wanted to share. I made three different trips yesterday to Albertsons, Walgreens, and Safeway and I must admit......... I DID AWESOME!!!! Now, a little disclaimer......Some of you will notice that I bought some not so WW friendly foods, but some of that is for summer when all of my kiddos will be home and we need something quick. Then, that is where my not-so-friendly WW foods come in handy, because they are quick, easy, and a treat for my kiddos as they don't get to have this stuff all the time. Anyway, soooooooo, here it goes.....

So, this is what I got. I would have paid $106.53, but I ONLY PAID $7.73!!!! I SAVED $98.80!!!! Waahooooo!!!!!!!!! I am not going to break it down, as the sales are over, but I had coupons for EVERTHING.

The chicken was on clearance at Safeway for 50% off. I also did manage to use four $3 Catalinas that I got back from buying the Bubble Spray Cleaner last week, so that really helped to bring my cost down at Safeway.

The Almay Mascara was on clearance at Walgreens for $1.79 and I had two $1 coupons from sending them a compliment e-mail, making my mascara $0.79 a tube. The markers were on clearance for $0.87 each (I put them away for school supplies in the fall), and I used a $3 RR to help pay for this too, making my total Walgreen's purchase a whopping $0.78 (including tax).

Most of my Albertons' purchases were free. Had to pay $0.50 per two pizzas with doubles. Free pizza rolls with doubles. Free Pantene with them being on clearance for $1.50 and the $1.50 coupon that came from Vocalpoint.

Okay, I went to Albertsons again today and I did do as good as yetersday, but this is what I got.....

Have you tried the McCormick Chicken Rub? We love it!!! I use it on EVERYTHING! We really like it on our pork. So, we go through these two things real quick around here. We tend to eat a lot of chicken, so one of our favorites is to use the Mequite Marinade on our chicken breasts. Now, the directions on the back call for oil to be used, but we just omit that and use extra water and it turns out real good.

McCormick Marinade is on sale this week...
10 for $10, making them $1 each
I used (8) $0.50/1
I paid $4

McCormick Rub is on sale this week....
$2.50 each
I used (3) $1/1
I paid $4.50

Remeber I talked a little yesterday about ordering coupons. Well, last month sometime, I ordered extra coupons from Coupons&Things by Dede. I ordered 10 coupons for $50/1 marinade. Then, I also ordered a few of the $1/1 McCormick Spices, etc. from the 4/25 RP (THIS EXPIRES ON 5/23). Well, they came in real handy today. I could have done this better, but this is the way I chose to do this transaction and I am happy with it, just not 100% happy.

Total would have been $27.49, I paid $8.50, I saved $18.99. Still a good deal. :)

Thanks!
