My Shopping Trip Today

Well, Blakey and I went out to do a little shopping today. I had a Catalina expiring at Safeway, so I wanted to use it up before it expired. I also needed some more fruit as I am running a bit low and I need it badly in order to stay on track with my WW plan.  So, we "planned" on hitting up Winco AFTER we went to Rite Aid (for cheap fresh fruit). Well, I had to stop by Rite Aid as it is next door to Safeway, right? Really, I needed to see if they were restocked on a couple of things, but they did not have much of what I needed. I was to pick a few things up though.

Here is what we were able to pick up for a good deal....

Okay, so OOP this was $8, plus $0.61 tax.

=$6.21! I saved a whopping $21.91!!!

This meat is enough for two or three dinners. Break that up into three and that is $2.07 per meal (just for the meat). Wow, that is pretty darn good.
