Monday Weigh-In Report

Yep, I know IT'S FRIDAY!!! ☺ YAY!!! ☺ And now I am giving you my "Monday Weigh-In Report"? Well, I am REALLY REALLY sore this morning, which made me realize that I "forgot" to do it. Last night mom and I did some Zumba AND we did two full classes (so two hours)!!! Oh, it is sooooo much fun!! But......today I am paying the price. I am REALLY sore. We decided a while back that we would at least do a double class once a month, so we can.....

1)  Increase our endurance.
2)  Get some extra exercise in.
3)  For me, just to spend a little extra time with my mama. ☺ Ahhhh.
4)  Last but not least, maybe we will start to get ALL the moves down. :O

Anyway, I met with "him" last Sunday. You know? Mr. Scale? Boy, he is REALLY REALLY mad at me. He said.....up 2.2 pounds. Well, he didn't know this, BUT I was actually happy with that. I seriously thought I was going to gain a good 10 or 12 pounds. I REALLY REALLY struggled last week. I got my sweet tooth! I did okay up until Thursday and then starting falling and falling and falling......... I AGAIN DID NOT BINGE!!! That is BIG for me.

I am sooooooo tired of this up and down stuff, ya know? For the last two years, I struggle and struggle and struggle. I "know" what I need to do, but it seems my addiction has been getting the very best of me. I get so mad at myself. I think back to my first three years of being on this journey with WW and how AWESOME I did. I WAS PERFECT!!!! Then, I'm telling you I hit that 135 pounds gone and BAM, I hit a wall. From what I understand it is pretty common for those of us who have a lot to lose to go through something like this. Well, I DON'T LIKE IT!! I think it all goes into what we learn about ourselves while on this journey, and it's part of the journey, but I'm ready to be done. I know that I am learning something from this, but I'm not sure exactly what that is. I'll tell you when I find out. ☺

You know they say that there are reasons why we turn to food and whatnot and there are times that I hear my fellow WW talk about that, but I have yet to figure that out. Still searching..........

Okay, so 'nuff with that stuff. I wanted to share something with you.....I just want you to know that I work REALLY REALLY hard in Zumba class and I have a GREAT time. I don't want to seem like I am full of myself or anything (especially after what we just talked about), but I wanted to share a picture of myself, while I am doing my Zumba. Now, before I share it, I just want you all to know that NOT everyone can look like this while doing Zumba so please please please don't get frightened if you are currently attending Zumba or are planning to. Okay, here goes......time for the BIG reveal......

See......if I close my eyes really really hard and wish as much as I can...THAT'S ME! HA!! Well, okay okay that's not me, but she sure is ONE HOT MAMA!!! Anyway....mom ordered some little "slip-on" things for us for Zumba. They go on your shoes to help them slide on carpet, since that is the flooring in our Zumba class. (You see those black straps in the picture across her white shoe? Those are the slip-ons). It's supposed to help it so you don't ruin your knees and ankles due to the extra resistance from the carpet. It is a REALLY good idea. Anyway, this picture of this "hot babe," a.k.a., me, came in the package and we decided she was pretty hot. Anyway, if you are interested in such an item, here is the link to the page. They cost $14.50 and ours came fast! I ordered them late Monday night and they came yesterday! Go check it out.

Okay, have a GREAT rest of the week!

Safeway Policy Change??

I just read a little blurb that Safeway has now put into effect....

~Safeway will no longer accept more than 3 like coupons in a transaction regardless of value.

I, myself, have not confirmed this personally, but with the recent backlash of the episode of  Extreme Couponing where one of the "extreme couponers" allegedly committed coupon fraud at Safeway, on the show, I think we are going to run into many many changes in the near future. Oh my.....Do you all know what I'm talking about?

Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you just in case you were out and about and going to do some shopping at Safeway. Maybe you might want to check with the manager before you do your shop. Rumor is, is that "the computer" actually refused the coupons after the third one. So, it sounds like it is already "in the system."

Thanks MommaChallenge at WUC!
