New Safeway Coupon Policy

A heads up, Karry over at Happy Money Saver is reporting that Safeway has just released a new coupon policy stating that we CANNOT use a paper coupon and E-coupon on the same item. BUT,.......now they have a new program called....

JUST FOR U. These Just for U coupons used to be only available to Hawaii residents, but now its available for everyone. Just go over to Safeway.com and look at the top where you can click on a big box inviting you to sign up. Plus you might be even able to score FREE Eggs right now for joining.

FYI, I have been looking all over for the "new" policy, but have yet to find it posted. I am a bit short on time, so I will try to find it a bit later.

Thanks Happy Money Saver!

New Cellfire Coupons

Cellfire has released some new coupons that are waiting to be loaded onto your cards for some GREAT savings. Just go on over here to get them loaded to your cards.

If you have yet to load Cellfire coupons to your Safeway card and want to learn how, I will walk you through some simple steps.

First make sure that you have your Safeway Club Card number handy, as you will need this.
Then, go over here to get started.
You will see the red box to the bottom right that says "Get Cellfire." Click on this box.
Then, it will take you to a page that you need to input your cell number (they don't call your cell), year of birth, zip, and address, and whether you are male or female (not sure why, but that is a question)
Then, you click "Register."
From there (I can't remember), but I'm thinking the next step is to input your club card number and then start saving.

This is a great way to maximize your savings at Safeway.

Thanks!

"Frugal" Deal on a Subscription to All You Magazine *Repost*

I thought I would repost this as this deal is still going on. I just went and placed my order last week, as my previous subscription has expired and I wanted to get a good deal on this. I was also able to use some of my Swagbucks to bring the price of this down. Yay!

If you haven't subscribed to All You yet, here is your chance to get in on a "frugal" deal. You can currently snag a subscription, through Amazon, to All You for one year, for $14.95, down from $29.88! Wow! That is GOOOOD! Just go on over here and get your order in.  This magazine will more than pay for itself with all of the coupons that come in it each month as well as all of the different "frugal" tips it has to offer.

Now, this is an auto-renewal price, which means that when your year is up that it will automatially renew your subscription, but no worries. You can always cancel your auto-renewal after you place your order. Just go into your account and click on the “Manage Magazine Subscription” link (located under “Your Orders”). You will then have the option to cancel your automatic renewal. Keep in mind this could take up to 4 hours to show up in your account after ordering.

Free "Pinch" Paper in Spokane

Are you interested in getting The Pinch, but don't know how to go about it? Do you already get the paper, but wouldn't mind having an extra pinch with some extra coupons FOR FREE?

For those of you that do not know what I am talking about and live in the Spokane area. Our newspaper puts out a "little" paper called The Pinch. It comes on Tuesdays with all of the food ads that are going to be in Wednesday's paper and, of course, the food section. Then, it also comes on Sunday with some extra fliers and some extra coupons too. I HAVE noticed though that you will not find Albertsons "Twice the Value" coupons in The Pinch or even "Smart Source" coupons, but it does come with most of the ads that you would find in the "regluar" Sunday's paper and with the RedPlum coupons!

Well, you can get information on how to get this delivered to your house FOR FREE over here. Here is some of the contact info that you will find on their page.

If the pinch is delivered to your door and you want to continue receiving it, we will keep it coming your way -- automatically, each week, at no charge. If, for any reason, you do not want pinch delivered to you, please let us know by calling (509) 227-5751, or 1-800-338-8801, ext. 5751; e-mailing pinch@spokesman.com; or writing to:
Pinch Delivery Office
P.O. Box 2160
Spokane, WA 99210-2160

It also goes on to say......If you write or e-mail, please be sure to include the address at which you want delivery stopped, along with a way to reach you in order to assure we have met your wishes. If you are not now receiving your own copy of pinch but would like to, just let us know by calling, e-mailing or writing to us -- using the contact information above. If you subscribe to The Spokesman-Review and request pinch, your copy will be delivered with your Wednesday morning newspaper at no additional charge.

So, YES, even if you already subscribe to the paper you CAN get this too! :)

Thanks!

Monday Weigh-In Report

I must admit that I am a bit embarrased to share my weigh-in progress, or lack of. Oh, don't get me wrong I did weigh-in, but it was NOT PRETTY at all! I GAINED 2 POUNDS!! Seriously, what is up with me?! I am getting so frustrated, but it's my own dang fault! I know this, but it just seems that my food addiction is getting the best of me. I dunno. So, anyway, my goals for this week are to run (or what I can running) four times this week. I have been having a really hard time finding 30 minutes a day to do this, so I am going to break it up a bit and run ;) 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening. We'll see how this is going to work for me this week. We do have a birthday in the family that we are going to celebrate tomorrow. Yes, it is our uncle's birthday and he wants to celebrate with going to the buffet. Yikes! But, I will do good there. I CAN control myself at the buffet. I just have to stick to meat and veggies. I have already told myself that I have to behave this week. So, now that I have shared my bump in the road, I am going to go run to a little Lady Gaga. I love her! I really like to listen to "Bad Romance" when I am on the treadmill as it really really. Now, I know this is going to sound stupid, but just bear with me a little.  Yes, I am VERY corny, but it relates to my relationship with food. Just a little tidbit there about me and my "crazy" ways. My husband would definitely agree that I am a bit CraZy!. :)

Okay, so off to the treadmill........

Thanks!

Groupon Deal of The Day for Spokane

Wow, who doesn't just love "frugal" expensive chocolate?! Check out the Groupon Deal of The Day for Spokane......

$6 for $12 Worth of Store-Made Sweets at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

Here is the tidbid Groupon has about them.....

After tinkering with the time capsule at Mt. Vesuvius, scientific explorers unleashed a flood of chocolate lava stored away by a mischievous child. Savor the fruit of this ancient prank with today's deal: for $6, you get $12 worth of store-made sweets at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Swing by the shop's Veradale location in the Sullivan Retail Center and bring home a bounty of freshly dipped fruits and more.

Peek across the counter at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory's resident chocolatiers, who massage creamy loafs of chocolate on sturdy marble slabs daily. For additional culinary theatrics, feel free to cheer on the expert orchard orderlies as they dip Granny Smiths into thick, bubbling caramel from a traditional copper kettle. Caramel apples ($3.95–$6.95) range from classically simple to loaded with toppings, accommodating different degrees of decadence more tastefully than a pair of convertible mink pants. If you're in the mood for poppable sweets, snag a pound of chocolate-dipped strawberries ($24.95), or strip away the core and go straight for the score with freshly fangled fudges ($14.95 per pound).
With traditional techniques and old-fashioned flavors, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory provides a wide range of treats for teeth both sweet and savory. In the interest of making the most of your stop through, the shop will happily hand you a sample of fudge. Fly solo and keep the chocolate-treasure haul to yourself, or bring along a flock of Willy Wonka imitators to confuse passersby while consuming the delicious treats.
Wow, they even have caramel apples! I bet the kids would love these!

This sounds like a good deal. Just go on over here, if you would like in on the deal. The deal is on!

Thanks!

Albertsons

Here are a couple of good deals at Albertsons.

Quaker Oats are on sale this week for $2.50. Use this coupon for $2.50/1 and you can score a box of oatmeal for $0.50! Hurry and print this coupon if want it though, because these tend to go FAST. :)

I don't know about you, but I tend to go through A LOT of chocolate chips during the holidays as I do quite a bit of baking for the holidays (you know gifts-n-stuff). So, Albertsons has their chocolate chips (Nestle) on sale for $1.99 a bag. Go over here and get a coupon for $1/2. Double that coupon and get two bags for $1 each! Not the best price, but better than paying $3 a bag.

Oh, I almost forgot. Albertsons also has Guerrero tortillas, 30 count, on sale for $1.00. Use this coupon for $1/1 and score some FREE corn tortillas!

Thanks to The Coupon Posse' for the heads up on these two coupons!

Okay, my last shop of the day

We stopped back by Rite-aid again to see if they had any coffee stocked up, but they hadn't gotten to it yet. So, we changed up our order and bit and this is what we got.......

Here is the breakdown

2-Hershey's Bliss 2 for $6
-$1/1 Hershey's Bliss (VV-Video Value) from September (NLA-no longer available)
-$1/1 Hershey's Bliss VV from October
-$1/2 Hershey's Bliss from recent insert
=$3.00

1-Gain dish soap $0.89
-$1/1 from recent P&G insert (they adjusted this one down to $0.89)
=FREE

1-Maybeline Eye Shadow $2.15
-2/1 Maybeline Cosmetic VV
=$0.15

2-Playtex Gentle Glide 2 for $8
-$2/2 VV
-$2/1 printable X2

-$1/2 from last weekend insert
-$0.50 VV X2
=FREE!

2-Nilla Cakester $0.99
-$1/2 VV
=$0.98

-$4/20 from here

Without all of my coupon savings and my Wellness savings, this would cost me $29.89. But, with all of my coupons and Wellness savings, this only cost me $2.11 before tax! Plus I got back another $2 +UP Reward for the Playtex and a $1 +UP Reward for the Bliss! So, I do have to admit that I was a little shocked to get the Playtex +UP reward because I already bought some Playtex earlier in the week and got back a $2 +UP for them, so I was thinking that I wouldn't get one, but I did and so I was very happy.

These sales are good through tomorrow, Saturday, if you want to try to get in on them. :)

Thanks!

My Target Trip Today......

Okay, so today we have went to Fred Meyer and now we are at Target, which was not too bad, but I messed up. Here is what we got....

4-Vicks Sinex $4.99
Okay this is where I messed up
-$4/1 from P&G insert X3 (I FORGOT TO CLIP MY OTHER COUPON, SO I ONLY HANDED HER THREE) :(

These were 85% off! What a deal!

1-Bliss Candy Bar for the assistant, Blakey, $0.97
-$0.55 (yes, we had a coupon for this too) from recent insert
= $0.42

Okay, so without coupons and savings this would have cost me $50.12, but with savings and coupons this only cost me, before tax, $11.24! It should have been $4 less though, but I forgot to use that dang coupon! Darn it! Oh well, I guess you win some and you lose some. I still did pretty good.

Thanks!

Cheryl

Fred Meyer Shop

Yes, today was a big shopping day for Blakey and I. I was REALLY tired by the end of day. We started out going to my favorite Rite-Aid, but they didn't have anything, so we moved onto Fred Meyer. Here is what we got......

Here is the breakdown.....

10-Kraft Singles $2.00
-$5/5 printable from here X2
-10 for $10 Fred Meyer in-ad coupon (so, minus $1.01)
=FREE plus $0.10 overage
FYI-I didn't clear the shelf. I made sure to ask the guy stocking if there were more and he said he had a bunch of cheese in the back. He told me to "have at it." :)

1-Loaf of Fred Meyer Wheat Bread $0.50

1-Philadelphia Fat-Free Cream Cheese $2.39
-$2.39 (won a free cream cheese from playing the Fred Meyer game)
=FREE

So, without coupons and savings, I would have spent $23.29, but with all of my savings and coupons my total was $0.40, which I didn't even pay for because I had a gift card that I put it on. So, for me IT WAS ALL FREE!!!!!

This sale lasts through tomorrow, so if you want some free cheese and you haven't printed the coupon out yet, you can still get in on the deal.

Thanks!

Cheryl

Last Week's Alberstons Deal

I just wanted to share a picture with you all of all that I got from Albertsons last week with their ConAgra deal. This was an awesome deal. Before sale prices this was a little over $500, but cost me less than $10 TOOP. I did use my Albertsons gift card for a lot it (you know, the one that I won from their Facebook page?). Plus, I still have a $10 Catalina to use on my next purchase. Wahoo!!! This deal was done with hardly ANY coupons.

Here is a picture, minus three packs of the Snack Packs and a couple of cans of soup. This is the biggest I have EVER done in a shop. Thanks to The Coupon Posse' and my friends, Tammy and Greg, for all of their help.

Did you know that Snack Packs come in SUGAR-FREE ANDDD FAT-FREE?! I didn't know that! The fat-free pudding has 2 points and the sugar-free only 1-point! YAY!!!

Well, I have 56 cans of soup. I REALLY should be skinny by springtime, huh? All of this food and toiletries will come in really handy for home and school. My daughter's class has bake sales often so all of these cake mixes will come in really handy, and the oil too. Christmas is coming, so the hot chocolate and flour will be used for Christmastime. We host Christmas at our house and so we will have PLENTY of drinks too with the 7-Up.

Did you get in on the ConAgra deal? How much did you save?

Thanks!

Cheryl
