Giveaway

**Reminder** Today is the last day to enter this giveaway.

Yay, I LOVE giveaways! We are having another giveaway. Again, my friends at My Blog Spark have provided me with an AWESOME pack to giveaway to one of my readers. But, first things first.....just so you know, I have been provided with The Souper You prize pack for myself from Progresso through My Blog Spark to try out.

Have you tried out the Progresso soups? Well, they are available in 40 flavors with 100 calories or less! I do really like Progresso soup. Have you tried the Light Clam Chowder? Okay, that is my FAVORITE! I can have it and incorporate it into my daily calorie budget and have the best of both worlds.

To help kick off a new outlook on the New Year, Progresso is excited to announce the return of the "Souper You™ Debut" contest! From January 3rd through March 16th, you all can visit Progresso on Facebook to enter for the chance to win a full makeover in New York City.

Three grand prize winners will be awarded a trip for two to New York City from May 20th-22nd. The prize includes roundtrip airfare, a two-night stay in an NYC hotel, a full makeover, a guided wardrobe shopping spree with a personal consultation at a New York City department store, and $1,000 in spending money.

To enter the Facebook contest, you’ll need to do the following:
Go to Progresso on Facebook to learn more and enter the contest.
Submit your essay (200 characters or less) telling Progresso why you love their soups that contain 100 calories or less, and why you deserve a chance to win a trip to NYC for a full fashion overhaul .

In addition, please submit a photo of yourself that visually reinforces the theme of your essay.

Once the 10 finalists are announced, you can visit Progresso on Facebook from March 30th through April 13th to vote for your favorite.

Visit the Facebook page to download a coupon for $1.00 off four (4) cans of Progresso Soup and to check out makeover videos provided by MyStyle.com and the Style Network. Be sure to also "Follow" Progresso on Twitter to keep up with the latest news from Progresso.

Okay, so now onto the Frugal Life of a Mom Giveaway....

Monday Weigh-In Report

Well.....I went to see Mr. Scale yesterday. He treated me okay. I really wish that he would just GIVE ME WHAT I WANT though! I jumped on and he says......down 0.2 pounds. Again, not great, BUT it IS  loss. All of those "little" losses do add up after a while. It is WAY BETTER than a gain. I REALLY didn't do too hot last week in staying on plan. I did stay on plan, but with a little more BLTs (bites, licks, and tastes). So, my goal for this week is to not take any extra, as I call "love bites," or BLTs. Those add up too. :( Darn!

I did do my third week of C25K training. Now, I start on week four! I am a bit freightened as now the running time is a little longer! :( I have ran longer than five minutes before, but now that I am on a schedule it is a little scarey. I don't know about you, but I'm on the treadmill it is a little boring. It seems to take FOREVER. Well, it is because you have that clock facing you and you are constantly looking at it. Even if I cover it up, I still peek. So, it seems to me that as soon as I get close to the end goal of running then I seem to poop out. Why? Well, it's because I'm looking at that stupid clock. If I am running outside, then it doesn't even seem to phase me. Does this happen to you OR I am just crazy in one more aspect of my life? ;)

Okay, so for this week and I AM going to stay on plan, THE right way, and I am going to get all of my C25K training in again this week.

Okay, lots of luck to you and your goals this week.

Thanks!

Cheryl
