Fred Meyer Cheese Update

Just got off of the phone with my hubby, whom I sent to Freddies after he got off of work this afternoon to get some more cheese. He went to the one on Sullivan. He said the shelves were wiped clean. Not a one shredded cheese package in site. THEY WERE OUT!! :( I guess that is what happens when there is an awesome sale. :) Anyway, he talked to "the guy" and "the guy" told him that all the stores were out and EVEN the warehouse is EMPTY. Wow, that was fast and CraZy. Anyway, he did advise my husband to go and get a raincheck. So, a raincheck is what my husband got. Just wanted to share with you just in case you were going to make a special trip to Freddies and also to remind you that we DO have that option of getting a raincheck on this great deal, as the Catalina deal does not expire until sometime in August. Gosh, I can't remember the date to be exact.

Oh, they still did have some blinkies. He did manage to grab a couple of those. :) Yay!

Huggies Thanks for making such a great quality, dependable product. I have used Huggies for my childrens diaper needs for years. We LOVE Huggies. I have never used Pullups until my youngest has started using them and I have to tell you, they don't fail at all. We use a Pullup EVERY night and they are AMAZING! Thank you!!

Capri Sun I just wanted to say thank you for making such great tasting products. My kids really enjoy Capri Sun. I think EVERY single flavor is their favorite! I have to say that I depend on Capri Sun. They are so nice to have when they are on the go. You can drink them warm OR cold. They are so nice to have around and are very very convenient. Kmart Toy Clearance

Kmart is having a toy clearance right now. The sale is 50% off of already clearanced toys. They had quite a few toys last night when we went and checked them out. My husband and I figured that most of the toys with the additional 50% off was about 65% off the original price. So, if that is a good deal for you, you might to go and check them out. They have their shoes at the same deal, 50% off of the already clearanced prices (good way to pick up some school shoes). They have a bunch of summer clothes on clearance too. I didn't really care for most of the prices. They were a little too high for my liking of clearance prices on clothes. My husband did find some nice dress pants (for work) for $4.99 though. THAT was a good deal. They were back by the outdoor section, FYI. Oh, this was at the Kmart on Sprague. Also, most of these clearanced toys were in the middle of the isles, back by the toys, there were a few that were still on the shelves though (so make sure you walk through the isles too).

I can't remember the prices on most things, but here are some of the things that I remember seeing......

Polly Pockets-some of them after the clearance price were $3 (I remember this 'cause we have a Polly Pockets fan in the house)

I was out AGAIN this morning. Went to Target AGAIN. They have their Venus Embrace "kits" down to $4.89. I used my $2/1 Venus Embrace from one of the last P&G inserts  and this made this real cheap. It was normally $9.99. They also had Listerine down to $2-something. I want to say it was $2.48, but I am not real positive. Anyway, just go over here to print $1/1 making them $1.48. Oh, and it came with a bonus of something else. I can't remember if it was another smaller bottle of Listerine or maybe even toothpaste. Anyway, it was real cheap. They also had a couple of Veet double packages down to $4-something. Again, I want to say $4.48, but not real positive. Anyway, go over here to get a $3/1 or go here.

I am hearing that Walmart has their Cinnabon cereal marked down to just $2. So, if you use this coupon here for $1/1, it makes it just $1 a box. Plus, if you get the box that has "TRY ME FREE" on it, then you get a rebate for your purchase, making the cereal totally FREE! Of course, I have not verified that this sale is happening here in Spokane. Some of these sales usually vary by region.

Garden Update

I am so VERY VERY excited to share pictures of my garden with you all. If you are just now following along on the garden updates, this is our first garden EVER. We have had AWESOME help from both my mom and my dad, and great advice from others. So, here are some new pictures.....

This is a picture of the whole garden. Look at how big my cauliflower (bottom center) are getting.

Awesome! Summer squash. I started these ones from seeds in the house.

Here are some general pictures of the squash/zuchini, radishes (I started from seed in ground), and onions that my neighbor gave me.

Corn is lookin' good too.

We just put cages on this weekend. We counted and we have.......26 tomato plants. Yep, I think I got a little ambitious. (Yes, mom, you were right).

Looky, looky, we have two, teeny, little tomatos. This picture is a bit blurry, but I still had to share. :)

Look at how tall our corn plants are.

You guys/gals I am sooooo excited about how our garden is growing. I know I was a bit jealous of our neighbor's garden, but not anymore. I am so very proud of ours. It seems to be doing really well, as far as I can tell. I have just been having a blast with it.

Are you growing a garden this year? How's your garden doing? I would love to hear. I'm sure there are lots of gardens out there really producing and just awesome. Maybe mine isn't as great as I think it is, but really to tell you the truth, I'M JUST GLAD I HAVEN'T KILLED IT YET. :) I have said before that I have NO GREEN THUMB AT ALL, so I am quite pleased so far.

Okay, thanks for taking a look, and please share some of garden stories. I would LOVE to hear them.
