Monday Weigh-In Report on Wednesday

Boy, this week has just flown by. I FORGOT to report to you all on Monday about the results of my weigh-in on Sunday. Well, I went, but I went by myself. My husband had to work on Sunday, so I was flying solo. Usually when I go in, I wear THE SAME thing EVERY WEEK. Well.......you never know, it just might change something if you change your clothes. :) I know, I know it is silly, but I REALLY want the BEST advantage at that scale. I know it makes no difference what I wear. Either I gained or I lost, but it still helps me mentally. Anyway, he is usually there to block me from the vision of others while I "take my clothes" off. No, silly, I just take my pants and my shirt off, but I have shorts on and a tank on, but still I don't want other people seeing my fat arms or how I really look with a skin tight tank. Let me be the first to tell you, IT'S NOT VERY PRETTY. ;) Anyway, I put my big girl panties on and did this all by myself WITH NO SHIELD AND I SURVIVED. Imagine that NOBODY was even looking my way. ;)

Okay, so I got on the scale and he was nice to me this week. I lost 2.4 pounds. Yay, for me. I was quite pleased. I only did the C25K training twice last week and walked one other time for 15 minutes, so that was no too impressive. I bet if I would have done more activity, I would have lost more, but that is okay. I lost, and I am happy for that.

So far this week I have done my C25K training twice and only need to do it one more time (for the week). Yay! I REALLY do like the program. Time does go by really fast for me when I am doing this because you have to pay attention to your minutes.

My family knows that unless anyone is hurt, bleeding, or dying THEN DO NOT COME AND GET ME. This is MY time and I need it soooooo badly. I am sooooo tired of all of this. I REALLY am tired of being like this and not staying faithful to the plan. I know I can do this! I have done this! I have to get on with it! What am I waiting for? You know, I just wish that we could lose weight just as fast as we can put it on. THAT WOULD BE GREAT!

Anyway, here's to a good rest of the week.

I hope you all are doing well on your plan and are succeeding.

Anyone want to do the Community Fun Run with me in April that I do every year? Let me know. It is all flat and on the trail. I can't remember the cost and they dont' have it posted yet, but when I find out I will let you know. It is between 10 and $15 and the really cool thing is you can also do it with the whole family. It does not matter the physical shape you are in, it does not matter what you look like, it does not matter how fast you are. This is a fun run that benefits The Arc of Spokane. I will provide further details when I get them. Anyway, think about it and maybe we can all do this fun run together. I am hoping I can "run" the whole thing.

Okay, have a GREAT week!

Have you heard of CafeMom? Well, if you haven't it sounds like a really good website to belong to if you are a mama. CafeMom is an online community created especially for moms. Here is some info that I got from their website....

Since its launch in November 2006, thousands of moms have come together online to swap stories and advice on a huge range of topics, share photos, and connect with friends. CafeMom users each get their own homepage which they can customize to show off their personality. Plus, they can start public or private groups with other moms about common interests. Moms of all ages and beliefs are now meeting, conversing, and having fun at CafeMom.

My Rite Aid Trip

I REALLY wanted to do the P&G deal on the front page of the ad this week (Get an additional $10 +UP Reward when you buy $30 of the stated items). So, before taking Sadie in for her appointment, Blakey (The Pirate today) and I stopped in at Rite Aid, and this is what we got........

My picture did not turn out very well. I'm not sure why, but I was having problems with my camera focusing and I couldn't get the position of the photo like I wanted, but here is still a picture of what I came home with. I think you can still get my drift. If you wondering, yes, Blakey does also have his lunch-plate in the picture too. :)

So, OOP, before tax all of this was -$0.99! Yes, that is NEGATIVE $0.99! I think I did pretty good.

Here is the breakdown of my order....

TGI Friday Snacks $0.97 X3
no coupon
= $2.91

Old Spice Deodorant $3.59 X2
Rang up at $3.59. I don't know why.
-$1/2 from 12/26 P&G insert
= $6.18

Old Spice Body Wash $3.97 X2
Again, rang up less at $3.83
-B1 deodorant G1 Bodywash free from 12/26 P&G insert X2
= FREE

DayQuil Sinex $4.97 X3
- $4/1 from 12/26 P&G X3
= $2.91, making them JUST $0.97 each!

Chestal Cough with Honey $6.29 X2
-BOGO sale (Buy one get one free)
- $2/1 printable from here (FYI...this coupon DOES beep. I heard that the manufacturer did not code it right. So, therefore, it is beeping. It is valid! It just beeps. ) X2
= $2.29, making them just $1.15 each!

-$15 +Up Rewards

TOOP (total out of pocket) was NEGATIVE $0.99, which paid for part of my tax of $3.14! Plus, I got back $17 in +UP Rewards. So, again this was a nice little money maker. :) My rewards for my P&G did not print out for some reason, but they were very happy to put it on a gift card for me. Very very nice of them. :) One $10 +UP for the P&G promo, two $2 +UPs for the Chestal Cough Syrup, and three $1 +Ups for the TGI Friday snacks.

Thanks!
