Kmart Toy Clearance

Kmart is having a toy clearance right now. The sale is 50% off of already clearanced toys. They had quite a few toys last night when we went and checked them out. My husband and I figured that most of the toys with the additional 50% off was about 65% off the original price. So, if that is a good deal for you, you might to go and check them out. They have their shoes at the same deal, 50% off of the already clearanced prices (good way to pick up some school shoes). They have a bunch of summer clothes on clearance too. I didn't really care for most of the prices. They were a little too high for my liking of clearance prices on clothes. My husband did find some nice dress pants (for work) for $4.99 though. THAT was a good deal. They were back by the outdoor section, FYI. Oh, this was at the Kmart on Sprague. Also, most of these clearanced toys were in the middle of the isles, back by the toys, there were a few that were still on the shelves though (so make sure you walk through the isles too).

I can't remember the prices on most things, but here are some of the things that I remember seeing......

Polly Pockets-some of them after the clearance price were $3 (I remember this 'cause we have a Polly Pockets fan in the house)
Barbie dolls
Power Ranger Figures
V-Tech games
A couple of Leapfrog books (not that great of a price, but they were $5). I like getting them close to FREE! :)

Some i-Carly toys
Star Wars toys (Lightsaber and a mask-like thingy)

Various board games (some of these were still on the shelf by most of the games)

Kmart Doubles Event

Wow! It looks like Kmart is having another Doubles Event starting 7/4 and going through 7/10. It looks like they are only doubling Health&Beauty products though, no grocery items at this time. If you don't remember how this works or are new to this. Kmart runs a promo, every once-in-awhile, called the Doubles Event. They will double coupons up to a $2 value, which means you could get up to $4 off of one product. They only allow five coupons to be doubled a day, per customer. AND you HAVE TO HAVE their Shop Your
Way Rewards card in order to do this. If you don't, here are a few ways to get it now.....

~You can go to the customer service dept at your local Kmart or Sears store and request a card; you will be able to sign up and receive your card immediately.
~ You can call the Shop Your Way Rewards Card dept at 1-800-991-8708, and they will take all your information over the phone and then a card will be mailed to you (the usually takes 6-8 weeks to arrive). Even if you do not have the physical card in hand for the double coupon days, you can give the cashier your phone # or member # in order to pull up your reward’s account.
~ You you can go here to sign up on-line; then just print off a temporary card to use while you wait for the permanent card to arrive in the mail.

So, if you are interested in this promo and want to check and see if your store is participating, just go on over here and check. This is a list of all the stores that are participating in this "event."

** I did double check and the Kmarts on Sprague and Division ARE participating in this event. Just a hint of advice though. Those of us that did participate last time in this event, found that it was easier for us to go during the earlier morning hours as the cashiers were are little more friendly and were a little more knowledgeable. Plus, if you have any problems the daytime manager should be there.

Kmart Doubles Scenario

Here are a couple of ideas...

Oral B Advantage Toothbrushes
$2.79
Use the $2/1 from the 4/4 PG (double this to make it $4/1)
Use the B1G1 Free from 3/7 PG
This makes 2 FREE toothbrushes.

Head&Shoulders Shampoo
2 for $9.00, making them $4.50 each
Use the $1/1 from 3/7 PG (double this and make it $2/1)
Use the B1G1 free from 4/4 PG
This makes them $1.25 each. That is a pretty good deal for Head&Shoulders.

Just a couple of ideas. Keep in mind that they are having a P&G Promo that if you spend $25 on certain products (before coupons) that you can qualify for a $10 Prepaid MasterCard. You have to get the rebate from the store. They have it on a tearpad by a lot of items.

I spent $5.21 today and will be sending in for my $10 Prepaid MasterCard.

Just a quick example of what I bought today...

2 Gillette Men's Body Wash, $8.00 ($4 each)
2 Head&Shoulders Shampoo, $9.00 ($4.50 each)
2 Tampax, $9.18 ($4.59 each)
1 Veet Lotion, $2.99

Used....
2 Gilette Men's Body Wash, (2) $2/1 from 3/7 PG, doubled, making them $8.00 off, making it FREE
1 Head&Shoulders Shampoo, (1) $1/1 from 3/7 PG, doubled, making it $2 off, making it $2.50
1 Head&Shoulders Shampoo, (1) B1G1 free from 4/4 PG, making it FREE
2 Tampax Pearls, (2) 2/1 from 3/7 PG doubled, making it $8.00, (I end up paying $0.59 a box for a total of $1.18 for two boxes)
1 Veet Product, (1) $3/1 Any Veet Product, making it FREE

Also, while I was in there I noticed that they have their Veet products on sale too. Use the $3/1 from here and you have some FREE Veet. The one that I got rang up at $2.99, and you don't even have to double this coupon as your product is free anyway. :)

Confirmed Kmart Doubles Event

Yep, I went out and took one for the team (he, he). ;) Well, I had to do some shopping anyway. I did manage to make my way to Kmart on Sprague and they are having the Kmart Doubles Event. I posted the rules earlier. I just suggest that when you do go to make sure that the prices are ringing up correctly and that your coupons get ran through correctly. My Gillette Body wash was supposed to be $4, but rang up and $4 and some change. One of my coupons ran through at $0.75 when it should have been $2. So, just be careful. They were really good with me this morning when I went in.

Needless to say, I will be showing my couponing face there AGAIN tomorrow. :)

Kmart Doubles Event

It has started! It looks like we (Spokane) is on the list. You might want to call and double check to see if your store is participating. You can find the list of participating stores here.

Some info....

Below are the basic “rules” for this event:
*You can use manufacturer coupons up to and including a $2 value (i.e. if you have a $2/1 coupon, it will be doubled up to $2 for a total of $4 off the price of the item)
*You must be a member of the Shop Your Way Rewards program AND the cashier MUST swipe your reward’s card at the beginning of your transaction!!*
*Limit 5 total coupons per customer per day.
*If you are using more than 5 coupons in your transaction, ONLY the first 5 coupons will be doubled.
*Does not include Kmart Store Coupons or Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons (i.e. Kmart coupons will NOT be doubled)

*If you are not currently a Kmart Shop Your Way Rewards card member, do NOT stress! There are 3 simple ways to become a member:

Kmart $10 off of a $20 Purchase

I have been a bit hesitant to post this coupon, as I am just not sure we can use it here. It doesn't say that we can't. There is some fine print, so make sure you check the fine print out. Anyway, the coupon doesn't expire until May! How cool is that? Yes, it does say that it is before taxes and after other discounts have been applied). From what I am hearing, the discounts mean "store discounts" not our coupons. Anyway, go on over here to print your $10 off $20 coupon.

Kmart Rewards Card

Don't forget to sign up to get your Kmart Rewards Card (this is not a credit card). It is another form of a club card, but it is for Kmart. Anway, remember that they are having their Kmart Doubles Event next month, where they are going to be doubling coupons of up to $2.00. Well, I heard that they are going to be doing this through their rewards card. So, make sure you have yours ahead of time. Go on over here if you don't have time to go into the store and get it.

Kmart Doubles up to $2

Kmart has released a complete list of participating stores for Kmart Doubles beginning April 4th-April 10th! Kmart will be doubling coupons up to $2.00 in value with a limit of 5 coupons per day. Many stores that usually don’t participate are again participating.  Yeah! Spokane is on the list of the stores that are going to participate in the Kmart Doubles Event.

Hasbro Game Exchange at Kmart February 27th and 28th

Kmart will be hosting a game exchange on February 27-28th. You just have bring in any old board game to the customer service desk and recieve an in-store coupon for 50% off participating Hasbro games. Offer valid only on day of store event, limit 1 coupon per person.

This is a great way to get a brand new game for really inexpensive.
