Target Clearance

Blakey and I DID head out to Target today. I wanted to see if they had their "guys" coats on clearance yet (for my older son), see what the toys were at, and see IF we were lucky enough to be able to get Twilight Saga for 2 bucks.

Well, the Twilight Saga was a no-deal. It was on sale for what it said, anywhere from $19.99 to $26.99 for the Blu-Ray. Toys were still at 30 to 50% off. I'm picky, 50% off is WAYYYY TOOOOOO EXPENSIVE FOR ME. ;) I'm cheap! I went to see what the coats were at and they were only 50% off. I was torn, because they had some REALLY nice coats that I think my son would like, but they were at $30. I REALLY don't like the idea of paying $30, so I got out the cell phone and called my hubby at work (sorry Ry), but I need him to talk me back to reality sometimes. I don't know about you, but sometimes I get caught up in the heat of things and I need him to calm me down or to at least make me realize it is not the ONLY sale we are going to come across. So, this coat that I wanted for my, like I said was 30 bucks. My husband had suggested that we wait until this weekend and go and check Burlington Coat Factory out. "Maybe they will have some of THEIR stuff on clearance?" Well, I tell him "okay, I'm gonna put the TWO coats back that I was toggling with." Well, I niced the ladies there with their little scan guns. They were workin' away and chattin' it up, so I thought "you know, I'm gonna JUST ask and see......." So, I ask the lady if they are marking this rack down more. She says, "well, let me see whatcha got." Okay, so I take my stuff to her and I think I probably scared her and I was REALLY doing the happy dance. She scanned it and said, "yep, looks like it went to 75% off." WAHOO!!!! Now, I have to call my hubby back again to tell him what just happened and to let him know I AM GETTIN' THE COAT FOR 15-BUCKS!!! This coat was normally $60! I think I can spare the $15! Now, I just wait for my son to get home and "hope" (fingers crossed) that he likes it.

Anyway, my point here is that Target on Sprague had some girls coats, boys coats were not quite 75% off (a couple of them were), and mens coats are 75% off now!

This is the price tag for the coat!

Check the shoes too! I got Faith and Blake a pair each, $5 each!

Oh, the lightbulbs with this coupon and the coupon from last week's Smart Source for $1/1 GE Reveal were only $0.44 each.

So, my total today without my coupons and MAJOR clearance find would have been $82.65. I paid $27.44 (including $2.36 tax)! I saved $55.21!

Ohhhh, I am swamped with work AGAIN!

So, I have been having a hard time getting on here and find deals for you all. I have been swamped with work and having to try to stay caught up has been a challenge. I'm trying though. Swamped with work is WAY better than no work. :)

Hopefully, I can catch up soon.......
