♥ Albertsons=Coupon Policy Change ♥
Wow!!! I had heard about this a few days ago, but wanted to kinda wait and see what was actually going to happen. All I can say is WOW Albies, I can't believe you. I am so so so excited with lots of delight.
Here is what Coupon Connections is reporting....
"Current Policy: Coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will be adjusted to provide the maximum value, notexceeding the price of the item
Changing to: Allowing Overage for Coupons:
“Manufacturer coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will have the remaining amount applied to the balance of the transaction. In the event the transaction balance results in a “credit”, additional items WILL be added/suggested to the order to utilize the remaining value of the coupon. Albertsons does not provide “cash back” on coupons, but provides full redemption value”
What does this mean?
If you have a $1.00 coupon and your items is $0.50, you will now be able to roll that into other items into your cart. So instead of the coupon being adjusted down you will now have to apply that to the other items in your cart
I am also excited to say that they will be addressing the Buy One, Get One Free Offers and using multiple coupons. Once the official policy is public yet, so I can’t share everything, but be sure to stay tuned."
Thanks Coupon Connections!

Just go on over here to their Facebook page and like them, then you will be able to "activate" your year's membership. From what I hear, it is really awesome to have. I have heard of people opening their e-mail and getting freebies JUST for having ShopRunner. If you have been following me for long, then you know I LOVE freebies!!!! :)
Anyway, I guess ShopRunner is great if you do some shopping online as I heard that ShopRunner will get you FREE 2-day shipping at quite a few online stores! That is PERFECT for Christmas!

Tomorrow
I will update you on the Secret Santa Mission tomorrow. I had a rough day today. Got in the van to pick my little man up from school; I was running five minutes late and the darn thing wouldn't start!!!! Yep, dead battery. So had to think in a panic of someone to go get him. Thankfully my in-laws were home and went and picked him up, and so therefore I was unable to get my Zumba on (I don't usually like missing my Zumba, but actually it didn't bother me today. I was happy not going. I'm sure it does not help that I am feeling a bit under the weather.) Sooooo....I stayed home and made cookies with my Blakey. So...... $100 later I have a van that will start now and hopefully will be on the road to take the kiddos to school and whatever else the day brings me.
Nighty night all! Sleep well......

Victoria's Secret
Have you been trying to win the Victoria's Secret gift card that they are giving away each morning? If you haven't and you are up at 6 am (our time/Spokane), then you should go "like" them on Facebook and then click on the link that says VS gift card (or something like that). You could win a $10, $50, $100, or EVEN $500 gift card. I have won a $10 gift card. You can only win once per FB account. So, if you have multiple Facebook accounts in your home, you may be able to play this more than once. ;) You do have to be very patient as there are a lot of errors (a lot of traffic), but if you keep refreshing you just might win.
Anyway, if you have already won, here is a deal that RHC has come across......
Perfume Set ($39 Value)
Cotton Panties ($7.50 Value)
Body By Victoria Bra ($32.50 value)
Cami top ($20 Value)
All for just $25.49 (+ tax) shipped!! The total value is $99.00!!!
Here’s how to do it:
-Go here (ebates) and search “Victoria’s Secret” then click “Shop Now” in orange (you will get 2% cash back and a $10 gift card if you are new to Ebates).
-Add item number SG-280-617 to your cart (just search for it)
-Add item number SG-277-475 to your cart
-Add item number SG-241-075 to your cart (be sure to choose a SOLID color or it won’t work)
Then use codes FA1128033, SHIP25, PERFUME at checkout.
Use your Secret Rewards code worth at least $10 (maybe you won more).
Your total will be right around $25.49 + tax shipped right to your door!!
How's that for a deal? That is SAWEET!!!
Thanks Raining Hot Coupons!!!

You know I love this! I plug this every year! It really has become a family tradition of ours to go down and ride the FREE horse and carriage ride that STCU puts on every year (they did it this past summer too). My children look forward to it now. So, we wait closer to Christmas, when my dad comes up and we drag my dad down there, freeze our butts off and wait in line to ride the carriage ride through downtown for FREE!!! A word of advice, the location is kind of in the shade, where you have to wait in line sooo take blankets and wrap yourself, your kiddos, your neighbor, whomever in blankets. *Alert* Locals.....
This is not a deal or anything related to a deal, but for safety purposes of our local community.
I just got this alert on my personal Facebook page from KHQ........
Louise Zimmerman
just got this note from my sister
PLEASE READ AND BE SAFE JUST IN CASE THEY COME TO YOUR DOOR!
This morning we had a gentleman come in to the Post Falls Windermere office to let us know there are two men going door to door stating they are with Windermere conducting a survey and would like to come in. Please be advised these men are not affiliated with Windermere, and the Police have been notified.
Just want to put the word out there, just in case. This could be some scary stuff!
Stay safe!

Where have you been?
Awww, I'm just kidding! ☺ I know it's been me. Seriously guys, I have just been having a hard time focusing in life lately. Don't know what the deal is, but just having a hard time. I DO know that I have missed you all. I have missed blogging so much! I'm glad I took a break as it was becoming apparent that I was thinking of blogging in a not-so-positive outlook. I felt like it was taking up too much of my family life and my work life. I sure hope you can forgive me for taking a unannounced break. I have hardly done ANY shopping! :o
Seriously, for those of you that have not done this kind of blogging it really is hard. You get caught up in blogger "drama," you get people that don't say very nice things to you, you think you make blogger friends only to find out they were never your "friend" to begin with, sometimes you feel like you just on an emotional roller coaster. Seriously, I had no clue when I entered the blogging world that is was as competitive as it is. I am of the mindset that I want to help others save and share ANY awesome deals that I may come across, whether those are deals that I found on my own or deals that other bloggers have found (of course share where I got that deal from), but apparently not everyone feels that way. I kinda feel we should all work together, but there are not many others (bloggers) that feel that way, which by all means is their prerogative. I just have a different outlook. I'm not in it for the money AT all. I have not made money AT all. I am in it just to help others. I DON'T wanna compete or play that game. That is not what I am about. I JUST want to help others; that's all. :)
Now, I realize my opinion, which is exactly what this is "my opinion," may offend others and I don't mean to do so, I just wanted "my" readers to know where "I" am coming from.
I'm gonna try to do this again, but will have to do it as a "working mom," meaning that there are times that I will not be able to get in here and post like I was, but still will post just maybe not as often. I don't know. Let's just see where the road takes us.
I know we have a quite a few local bloggers, but I just want to share with a couple of my faves.....
Raking in the Savings (Kari is "newer," but is so VERY AWESOME)
Happy Money Saver (another Karie. She has been around a while and is so VERY VERY sweet and AWESOME too).
Oh, I almost forgot my friend Alana at 107down. (check her out. She shares her weight loss journey and some deals to from time-to-time. She is super sweet!)
You have any favorite local bloggers that I may not know about? Let me know and I will put them on a list of "local" bloggers.

GREAT Deal on 6-Month Subscription to All You
Here's a nice deal on a six-month subscription to All You through Amazon. I'm sure most of you are familiar with All You magazine. It is one of THE BEST magazines out there for a "couponer"/deal getter. Anyway, RIGHT NOW, until the 10/25/2011, you can score a six-month subscription to All You for ONLY $6!! You know what that means? Well, it means that you can have it delivered right to your house, you don't have to make a special trip to Walmart (Walmart is the ONLY store that sells them on the shelf), and YOU GET IT FOR CHEAPER than you would if you went to the store! That's AWESOME! Just go on over here to get in on this deal.
Who Reads All You?
All You is created for the value-driven American woman. All You readers seek practical, reliable, affordable solutions for how to do more, buy more and accomplish more with less. They want “achievable inspiration,” not “unattainable fantasy,” reasonably priced products from stores where they actually shop, and real-life advice that fits their busy lifestyle. All You covers a range of topics from interpersonal relationships to home repair; recipes that can be made in 10 minutes to decorating ideas for under $100; health information delivered in language she can understand, to clothes for every body type, all presented in a lively, contemporary format.
What You Can Expect in Each Issue:
Coupons: Every issue of All You contains valuable coupons for fashion, food, makeup and household basics. With high coupon totals each month (more than $60 recently), this magazine pays for itself many times over.
Advice on living well for less: Throughout every issue are exclusive money-saving ideas for every area of your life. You’ll benefit from invaluable tips on couponing, smart shopping, bargain hunting, price negotiating, home decorating, discovering inexpensive beauty and fashion products, and much more.
Realistic health and fitness ideas: Most of us should improve our health or diet or exercise routine somehow. But change is hard. So All You gives the hard facts and concise plans you need to make better lifestyle choices. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, firm up or create more healthful meals, our stories have the up-to-date, proven information you need, presented in a format that’s easy to understand.
Affordable, delicious family-friendly recipes: Grocery costs make up a huge part of every household budget. That’s why All You offers an unparalleled selection of inventive and inexpensive recipes for daily dinners, special occasions and tempting treats—many for just pennies a serving! Better yet: All the ingredients are readily available at local markets.
The "Reality-Check" promise: The heart of All You is our “Reality Check” promise. We reach out to our exclusive network of more than 40,000 women to get their advice—and we feature them and their ideas prominently throughout every issue. The magazine also goes in-depth every month, bringing you inspiring first-person stories of women who have overcome challenges in their lives, from financial burdens that seemed impossible to surmount to life-threatening illness and natural disasters.
Your most important questions answered: In each issue an All You recruits experts (all of them women) in key areas—health, relationships, pet care, fitness, nutrition and money savings—and asks them the most pressing questions in their fields. You get unbeatable access to clear thinking on thorny issues, like how to pay off your credit cards, deal with a fussy in-law and lose that baby weight. -Amazon
I know I said the other day that I don't EVER pay for magazine subscriptions. Well, I happened to forget that I DO pay for this one. This is one of the two that I pay for, but ALWAYS make sure that I get a good deal on the subscription before settling for a higher-priced subscription. ;)
Good luck!

Then, I went to close the box out and on the screen behind that one was the one saying that my magazine would be arriving in a few weeks. Just a little FYI for ya'.
**REALLY, this is the ONLY way I get my magazines. ;)

With times being so hard on so many pocketbooks, I know of quite a few people that are REALLY excited about this.

Some ideas for FREEBIES for One Kings Lane
Some ideas for FREEBIES from One Kings Lane....I know you kinda have to weed through them. As of 7:40 this morning, these were available........
With One Kings Lane there are new sales everyday. There are quite a few that are ending in a few minutes (8 o'clock), but then more sales will be released. Make sure you go and check out what you can find for $15 or less when they list the new sales. Now, I know some of the stuff is pretty pricey (I can't believe the prices on some of the things that are SOLD OUT), but they do have items for $15 or less. Like I said yesterday, I was able to score a nice FREEBIE Christmas present for "someone" on my list.
Happy shopping!
