Wow!!! I had heard about this a few days ago, but wanted to kinda wait and see what was actually going to happen. All I can say is WOW Albies, I can't believe you. I am so so so excited with lots of delight.

Here is what Coupon Connections is reporting....

"Current Policy: Coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will be adjusted to provide the maximum value, notexceeding the price of the item

Changing to: Allowing Overage for Coupons:
“Manufacturer coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will have the remaining amount applied to the balance of the transaction. In the event the transaction balance results in a “credit”, additional items WILL be added/suggested to the order to utilize the remaining value of the coupon. Albertsons does not provide “cash back” on coupons, but provides full redemption value”


What does this mean?

If you have a $1.00 coupon and your items is $0.50, you will now be able to roll that into other items into your cart. So instead of the coupon being adjusted down you will now have to apply that to the other items in your cart

Tomorrow

I will update you on the Secret Santa Mission tomorrow. I had a rough day today. Got in the van to pick my little man up from school; I was running five minutes late and the darn thing wouldn't start!!!! Yep, dead battery. So had to think in a panic of someone to go get him. Thankfully my in-laws were home and went and picked him up, and so therefore I was unable to get my Zumba on (I don't usually like missing my Zumba, but actually it didn't bother me today. I was happy not going. I'm sure it does not help that I am feeling a bit under the weather.) Sooooo....I stayed home and made cookies with my Blakey. So...... $100 later I have a van that will start now and hopefully will be on the road to take the kiddos to school and whatever else the day brings me.

You know I love this! I plug this every year! It really has become a family tradition of ours to go down and ride the FREE horse and carriage ride that STCU puts on every year (they did it this past summer too). My children look forward to it now. So, we wait closer to Christmas, when my dad comes up and we drag my dad down there, freeze our butts off and wait in line to ride the carriage ride through downtown for FREE!!! Where have you been?

Awww, I'm just kidding! ☺ I know it's been me. Seriously guys, I have just been having a hard time focusing in life lately. Don't know what the deal is, but just having a hard time. I DO know that I have missed you all. I have missed blogging so much! I'm glad I took a break as it was becoming apparent that I was thinking of blogging in a not-so-positive outlook. I felt like it was taking up too much of my family life and my work life. I sure hope you can forgive me for taking a unannounced break. I have hardly done ANY shopping! :o

Seriously, for those of you that have not done this kind of blogging it really is hard. You get caught up in blogger "drama," you get people that don't say very nice things to you, you think you make blogger friends only to find out they were never your "friend" to begin with, sometimes you feel like you just on an emotional roller coaster. Seriously, I had no clue when I entered the blogging world that is was as competitive as it is. I am of the mindset that I want to help others save and share ANY awesome deals that I may come across, whether those are deals that I found on my own or deals that other bloggers have found (of course share where I got that deal from), but apparently not everyone feels that way. I kinda feel we should all work together, but there are not many others (bloggers) that feel that way, which by all means is their prerogative. I just have a different outlook. I'm not in it for the money AT all. I have not made money AT all. I am in it just to help others. I DON'T wanna compete or play that game. That is not what I am about. I JUST want to help others; that's all. :)

Now, I realize my opinion, which is exactly what this is "my opinion," may offend others and I don't mean to do so, I just wanted "my" readers to know where "I" am coming from.

I'm gonna try to do this again, but will have to do it as a "working mom," meaning that there are times that I will not be able to get in here and post like I was, but still will post just maybe not as often. I don't know. Let's just see where the road takes us.

Morning.....I know I have not posted in a while and not sure how or when I can get back to it. I have been really trying to get into my new routine and it has not allowed time for me to look for deals. Really, can you have fun doing Zumba at a church?" Yes, it is a church! No, silly, they are not "church songs." YES, YOU CAN HAVE FUN DOING ZUMBA AT A CHURCH!!!! Seriously, sooooo many different types of music AND FUN MUSIC TA' BOOT! I guarantee you that if you like to dance, workout (or not), or just simply have fun YOU WILL WANT MORE! So, whatcha waitin' for?! Come on! Come party with us! YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY! ☺ Hopefully, we will see you there!

Safeway Deal on Pop-Tarts

This is a GREAT deal for all you Pop-Tart fans out there. Right now, there is a Pop-Tarts coupon available for $1/2 boxes of the low-fat kind. Hurry and print this while it is still available. I'm sure it will go fast.

Anyway, through 10/22, Safeway has Pop-Tarts priced at $1.49 with in ad coupon (limit 4). (This was in this past Sunday's paper).

Anyway, right now Mercury Magazines is offering up a FREE subscription to Latina magazine. Just go on over here, before they run out, to get your FREE subscription. At the end, they will tell you that are qualified for six magazine subscriptions for $2 each. They will ask you to enter your billing and mailing address, as well as credit card info. I DID NOT do any of that. I clicked on submit and it came back with errors. Then, I went to close the box out and on the screen behind that one was the one saying that my magazine would be arriving in a few weeks. Just a little FYI for ya'.

Hey, do you remember the days of layaway? I used to utilize Walmart's layaway ALL THE TIME until they stopped offering up the service. Well, guess what?! Have you heard the news?!
