Okay, so I REALLY wanted to get out and get some Cool-Whip. I NEVER have Cool-Whip on hand and I love the stuff. So, I was trying to figure out a way that I could get LOTS of the stuff without having to spend very much out of pocket, as I did not have any Catalina's from the week before. Oh, and here, in our house, we really like the Sensodyne toothpaste, so I was trying to workup a deal to get some REALLY cheap Sensodyne toothpaste at Riteaid. So, here is what I got. Without coupons and savings, this would have cost me $98.29. With all of my coupons and the GREAT savings, this only cost me....$5.75! I SAVED $92.54!!!
Here is what I got. Now, keep in mind these are five different transactions and four different stores.....
Transaction #1-
Oscar Mayer Dogs $1.50X5 ($7.50)
-$1/1 X5 (Thanks Coupon Posse) (Also, in order to get five coupons, you will need multiple computers)
=$2.50
Got back $5 Catalina for my next order.
Now, I don't need the hot dogs, but this was the only way that I could figure out getting some FREE Cool-Whip without having to spend very much out-of-pocket.
Transaction #2, Transaction #3, and Transaction #4
Cool-Whip $1X5 ($5)
-$5 Catalina
=FREE!!!
Got back $5 Catalina for my next order (Now, I still have a $5 Catalina leftover for some cheap cheese)
Riteaid
Sobe Life Water $0.99X1 (Used this as a filler to help get to $25)
-Free Sobe Coupon from playing the game at (http://www.sobe.com/)
= FREE!!
Herbashine hair color $5.99
-$3/1 X1
-2/1 Video Values coupon
=$0.99
Gain Dishsoap $0.89X3 ($2.67)
-$1/1 from last weekends P&G insert
=$0.33 overage
Boudreauxs Butt Paste $3.99 X1
-$2/1 from insert a couple of months ago (I can't remember which one)
-$3/1 from VV
=$1.01 overage
Sensodyne $5.99 X3 ($11.98, the sale was buy 2 get 1 free)
-$1.50 from sending them a compliment e-mail
-$0.75/1
-1.50/1 from VV X2
-$1 when you buy $10 in oral care products UP reward
=$5.73, making them $1.91 each (that's pretty good for Sensodyne)
-$5/25
Now, looking at my receipt I should have paid $1 less, because they were having a hard time getting the $1 when you buy $10 in oral care to come off. Now, that I'm looking SHE ADDED $1. So, my total before tax should have been $0.87! But, instead it was $1.87. Oh well.
So, at Riteaid I only spent $3.25 including tax. Not too shabby.
Thanks!

My Shopping Trip Yesterday (Wednesday, September 1)
Labels:
Albertsons,
My Shopping trip,
Rite-Aid
Today is
my birthday. So, I will not be able to get in and post. I did take the day off of work and my husband arranged for my kiddos to spend the night at grandma and grandpa's last night. So, I am here all alone. I figured I'd go play around at the store to see what I can come up with, maybe just sit and do nothing (don't know if I CAN do that), or even get stuff done around the house. All I know is that right now I sure do miss my kiddos.
I will be back at it again tomorrow. I hope you all have a great day and get some GREAT shopping in.
Thanks!
Cheryl
