FYI....

I am very lucky to have a ton of work on my desk right now. So, that is my main focus today and then I get to go have "Muffins with Mom" at my daughter's school today. So, I don't know how much I am going to be able to look for great deals. Once again I am sorry, but my work has to come first today. As it is, I did NOT make my monthly budget last month.....:( So, I REALLY need to make up for it this month......

Jung Kim's Martial Arts Spokane

Hey, I had to print out some forms, for my daughter, online from her TKD school (Jung Kim's Martial Arts), and I came across this awesome video. Last year, I don't know if you heard about it, but we (Jung Kim's Martial Arts) held a fundraiser, the break-a-thon, to raise funds for a local charity. This is something that they do every three years. Anyway, if you remember Shriners was having a bunch of talks about closing and whatnot (sad sad discussion). Anyway, Jung Kim's Martial Arts had picked Shriners to be the ones to benefit from the fundraiser. So, the kids (just my son, from our family) raised money and for a certain amount that they raised then they got to break boards. It was our first time doing this ever and it was sooooo fun to go watch. The demo team (the best) performed and it was amazing. Did you know that the Sheriff is a black belt? We didn't. So, we got to see him break a board too! Anyway, I think the kids raised around $38,000 and all of that got donated to Shriners! That is AWESOME!! Anyway they have a really cool video of some of what was done.

There is a part on the video of a guy breaking LOT of boards, one right after another. He is tall, short short short hair, and reallly long legs (hence the being tall). That is the kids' instructor and man he is AWESOME!!! Then, there is the older Asian fellow that is breaking the bricks....that, my friends, is Master Kim. He is the actual owner and mastermind behind Jung Kim's Martial Arts.

If you are looking for a TKD school. This is a really GREAT school. Our kids have really benefitted from this program. They have learned so much. I love the self-confidence it helps to build in them. Anyway, I highly recommend this school. If you want here is the contact info....

Ooooh, Winco has some AWESOME printable coupons on their site right now. Remember those "Moments to Save" coupons we got this last weekend in the paper.
