Albertsons Update

Okay, Big Momma's back. Yep, I marched my bottom into Albertsons just a few minutes ago and reclaimed my $2.15. I know, I know, your probably saying, "it is only $2.15," but you know what? I can turn that $2 into $5 or more, so yeah, every little bit helps. I could get four Weber spices with that $2, if I wanted to. So, my out of pocket money spent at Albertsons was really only $9.96. Boy, I feel better about that. :) I do always try to take a look at my receipt before I leave the store, but I guess I didn't today. Thankfully, I am not that far from the stores I shop at.

Anyway, just wanted to share my story with you all.

Albertsons shopping trip today

Well, I headed off to Albertsons this morning in hopes of finding some Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce for $0.50 a bottle. Well......I found 'em and then some. Here is what I got today.....

I saved $40.28 (78%, not the best but pretty good) and I spent $12.11.

Lysol wipes were $1.79X4

-$1 off any Lysol product X4

= OOP $0.79 each (total $3.16)

Airwick Sprays were $0.99 X2

-$1 off any Airwick product X2

= OOP FREE each!!

Sweet Baby Rays were $1 each X6

- $1 off of two from last weekend's (5/23) SS X3

= OOP $0.50 each (total $3)

Emerald Peanuts were 2 for $4 X2

- $1 peelies from a while back X2

= OOP $2 each (total $2)

Weber Spices were 10 for $10 X2

-$1 off of two tearpad found by product X1

=OOP $0.50 each (total $1)

I did manage to take a picture of the Weber coupon so you all could see what to look for. Here is a picture of the front and back.

Okay, so here is a lesson. Upon getting this setup for you all and doing the breakdown on my receipt, I just realized that I was overcharged by $2. So, my total should have been $9-something. Not her fault, she was a bit confused on how to take my coupon and we both thought that she voided it, but apparently it was not voided. So, I am headed back out to the store for my 2 bucks. Heck yeah! :)
