Monday Weigh-In Report

Well.....there is not much to report as I stood up Mr. Scale yesterday. I know, I know, but I REALLY wanted to sleep in. I was quite exhausted last week and wanted to sleep in and did so and I feel sooooo good today. :)

I struggled a lot last week (part of the reason why it was so easy for me to not go). I am glad the week is over and I am started on a new week. It really threw me for a loop not having my Zumba class two times last week. I did, however, go on Tuesday with my mom and we did a two-hour session. We were not able to go on Thursday as my son was testing for a new belt in Tae Kwon Do, so I needed/wanted to be there for that. I love watching my kids test, it REALLY does make mama proud. Anyway....Boy, let me tell you that was not easy, especially after falling on my behind earlier that day. I was really sore all week, after that Zumba session, but I couldn't really tell if that was from doing Zumba for two hours or falling. I am just now starting to feel a little better. I REALLY was proud of myself for doing two hours though. I tell ya' it did kick my butt and I WAS T-I-R-E-D afterwards, BUT IT WAS SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! I cannot tell you how many new friends I have made going to class. It has been GREAT! It has been such a great way to bond with my mom and my other friends that have managed to come along with me, plus it REALLY has been a great way to meet more friends! I LOVE IT!!!

Seriously, you guys, I am addicted to Zumba. I STILL think about it all the time, and the songs that she has us Zumba too run through my head all the time. I am just REALLY REALLY thankful that we do it in a room WITH NO MIRRORS. I know if I saw myself I wouldn't do it anymore. IT CAN'T BE PRETTY!! :) But, you know, I was a little shy at first and whatnot, but I have now convinced myself that I am there to......

1.  Have fun. (I need to have fun in order to get my exercise in).
2.  Get exercise in.
3.  Use it as a tool to get to my weight loss goal.
4. Have a little "me" time, which I am not really used to.
5.  Spend time with family and friends.

I have AWLAYS, all my life, put myself second. Everyone around me, no matter who it was, deserved things more than I did. I always went without or it "wasn't meant for me. It was meant for them." I still think like this, but just not as much. One thing I have learned over the years of being a WW is that I do matter, just as much as the next person. Just because I am fat, doesn't not make me worth less. This is still something I am dealing with.

You know, in Zumba class there are many ages, shapes, sizes, and capabilities doing the class, which is one of the things I really like about it. I don't feel judged at all. I don't feel like anyone is looking at me and I'M IN THE FRONT OF THE CLASS.

Anyway, I was talking with my mom one day (as she kinda feels this way too) on the way home from Zumba and we discovered that we both felt this way. It was funny, because I had just convinced myself that...."you know what? I DO DESERVE THIS AS MUCH AS THE OTHER PERSON, next to me! I AM DOING THIS FOR MYSELF"! Nobody knows (unless I announce it) that I am a WW. They have no clue that I may be this "fat girl," but I am trying to unfat myself and have been successful at unfatting myself of 135 pounds! I am doing this for myself and I have just as much right to be there as everyone else. So what if I look funny. I'm burning calories and they are doing it too! Right?!

The funny thing is is that I don't think anyone really cares that I'm there doing this. This is just what is in my head. So, yeah, I do have to self-talk quite often and it needs to be positive self-talk. :) Do any of you go through this?

Anyway, I am back on track so far this week and I am going to STAY on track. And I get to do Zumba TWICE this week! Yay!!!

Albertsons Doubler Run

Well, I took a picture of my purchase, but cannot figure out how to get my SD card to work with my new computer and I don't have the patience right now to deal with it, so need to wait for my hubby to get home so he can help me figure it out.:( Anyway, picture this.....

TOOP was $4.02, PLUS I got back TWO coupons for a gallon of milk (Up to $3.99). So, they were offering either to use both coupons and take the $2.49 off or use one coupon for $3.99 and pay $1 for two gallons of milk. Either way was not too bad at all, considering the most you would pay is $0.50 a gallon. That is pretty good in my eyes! TOTOL SAVED WAS $22.49!!
