Monday Weigh-In Report

I must admit that I am a bit embarrased to share my weigh-in progress, or lack of. Oh, don't get me wrong I did weigh-in, but it was NOT PRETTY at all! I GAINED 2 POUNDS!! Seriously, what is up with me?! I am getting so frustrated, but it's my own dang fault! I know this, but it just seems that my food addiction is getting the best of me. I dunno. So, anyway, my goals for this week are to run (or what I can running) four times this week. I have been having a really hard time finding 30 minutes a day to do this, so I am going to break it up a bit and run ;) 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening. We'll see how this is going to work for me this week. We do have a birthday in the family that we are going to celebrate tomorrow. Yes, it is our uncle's birthday and he wants to celebrate with going to the buffet. Yikes! But, I will do good there. I CAN control myself at the buffet. I just have to stick to meat and veggies. I have already told myself that I have to behave this week. So, now that I have shared my bump in the road, I am going to go run to a little Lady Gaga. I love her! I really like to listen to "Bad Romance" when I am on the treadmill as it really really. Now, I know this is going to sound stupid, but just bear with me a little.  Yes, I am VERY corny, but it relates to my relationship with food. Just a little tidbit there about me and my "crazy" ways. My husband would definitely agree that I am a bit CraZy!. :)

Okay, so off to the treadmill........

Thanks!

Groupon Deal of The Day for Spokane

Wow, who doesn't just love "frugal" expensive chocolate?! Check out the Groupon Deal of The Day for Spokane......

$6 for $12 Worth of Store-Made Sweets at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

Here is the tidbid Groupon has about them.....

After tinkering with the time capsule at Mt. Vesuvius, scientific explorers unleashed a flood of chocolate lava stored away by a mischievous child. Savor the fruit of this ancient prank with today's deal: for $6, you get $12 worth of store-made sweets at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Swing by the shop's Veradale location in the Sullivan Retail Center and bring home a bounty of freshly dipped fruits and more.

Peek across the counter at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory's resident chocolatiers, who massage creamy loafs of chocolate on sturdy marble slabs daily. For additional culinary theatrics, feel free to cheer on the expert orchard orderlies as they dip Granny Smiths into thick, bubbling caramel from a traditional copper kettle. Caramel apples ($3.95–$6.95) range from classically simple to loaded with toppings, accommodating different degrees of decadence more tastefully than a pair of convertible mink pants. If you're in the mood for poppable sweets, snag a pound of chocolate-dipped strawberries ($24.95), or strip away the core and go straight for the score with freshly fangled fudges ($14.95 per pound).
With traditional techniques and old-fashioned flavors, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory provides a wide range of treats for teeth both sweet and savory. In the interest of making the most of your stop through, the shop will happily hand you a sample of fudge. Fly solo and keep the chocolate-treasure haul to yourself, or bring along a flock of Willy Wonka imitators to confuse passersby while consuming the delicious treats.
Wow, they even have caramel apples! I bet the kids would love these!

This sounds like a good deal. Just go on over here, if you would like in on the deal. The deal is on!

Thanks!
