Update....Kindergarten
ANOTHER update: So, I called on Friday to get Blakey's birth certificate and ordered it by phone, right? Well, I got the birth certificate in the mail that VERY NEXT DAY! Wow, that was fast. Just wanted to give you a heads up and let you know that it did come FAST! :)
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up that I JUST did this a few minutes ago, over the phone, and it was SOOOOOOO easy. I had to give her my name, my child's name and spelling, my child's date of birth, the father's name, and my maiden name. Then, I had to give her my card number for her to charge the $20 fee and my mailing address. Easy peasy! She did say that it would be mailed out the next business day and that I COULD go down and pick it up. I said I would wait for it to come in the mail as I'M NOT going to drive my butt downtown. I DON'T like driving and to drive downtown is REAL scarey for me. Then, as we got off the phone, she said that she would get it out in today's mail! Yay! Then, I can get my baby registered next week, by the due date! Nothin' like waiting 'till the last minute, huh? Really, it took less than five minutes to do this and she was super nice. :)
I just wanted to take the time and either remind you or give you a heads up that it's that time, if you have a child getting ready to go into kindergarten.
You will need to have purchased, if you haven't already, their "real" birth certificate (for $20) AND you will have to have your child's immunizations up-to-date or the waiver signed if you do not believe in vaccinating your children.
Most registrations start up next month. I say most as mine is here in a couple of weeks.
There are a few ways, if you live here in Spokane, to go about getting/purchasing your child's birth certificate.
To order:
Online with a credit card: Click Here
By phone with a credit card: (509) 324-1524
By mail or in person:
1101 W. College Avenue
Spokane, WA, 99201
8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Orders placed in person normally take just a few minutes. A completed application must be received to process your request. Each copy of a birth or death certificate is $20, payable by cash, debit or credit card, or money order (payable to Spokane Regional Health District).
You can go on over here and get more info and download the sheet too.
Rite Aid Round-Up
Well, we went to Rite Aid this morning on the way to Weight Watchers. We were the first ones in the door. I had this great plan all mapped out. My husband was with me. I thought FOR SURE there would be lots of people there for the Johnson&Johnson stuff. So, we made a plan......We were gonna tag-team it, ya know? You go back and get the Pull-Ups, the Johnson&Johnson stuff, and Kleenexes, I tell him. Then, I will grab the other stuff that we need. We stuck to our plan of action. Okay, so now the nice cashier has just finished scanning all of my items and THEN scanned my Wellness card. Well, needless to say I was shakin' in my boots. Seriously, I had the shakes soooooo bad. I was SOOOOOO nervous as I did not break these into separate transactions and I picked up a few things that I was not sure if I was going to pick up or not (like the EXPENSIVE L'Oreal stuff). I usually go in with a plan and stick to it, unless they are out of something. I had thought long and hard about this, but I could not make up my mind. But, I went in and made my mind up and decided to GO FOR IT. I "warned" the cashier that I had a TON of coupons this morning and that I was REALLY nervous because I had a HUGE order. She was just so sweet and was so happy for me.
Okay, the rest of the coupons.....
-$5/25 from my Wellness account
-$2 bonus reward coupon from VV
-$67.50 in +UP Rewards! I SPENT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY +UP REWARDS!!! OUCH!!
Okay, so......my TOOP was.........$0.17!!!! Plus, $6.15 in tax. :( I SAVED......$151.58!!!! Plus, I got back a total of.......$62 in +UP Rewards. I reached the $100 limit for the Winter Rewards on my husband's card, so $20 of that was from that! I was quite happy as I spent every last one of my +UP Rewards and was curious as to how I was REALLY going to do. I think I did PRETTY DARN GOOD! Plus, I am going to submit for this $10 Rebate for the L'Oreal Stuff. And, submit for the $5 SCR from Rite Aid. So, I will be making some money on this one! :)
I am on a coupon high now.....:O
