Another "Cinderella" Coupon From Cellfire

Today, Thursday, November 18th, at Noon. Cellfire will be doing another Cinderella promotion. You have the possibility of winning 1 of 10,000 coupons for $1, $5, or even $10 off of your next shopping trip at Kroger or Kroger-owned stores (like Fred Meyer for us locals).

The promotion will run for 24 hours starting this Thursday at Noon (Pacific time) and run to Noon Friday. By simply logging in, Cellfire members WITH A KROGER OR KROGER-OWNED STORE LOYALTY CARD will randomly be chosen as winners of a $1, $5, or $10 coupon. Everyone who logs into Cellfire during this period (with a Kroger loyalty card) gets ONE chance to win—additional log-ins will not count. Winners will immediately see the coupon and be able to save it to their Kroger card.

Here is what Cellfire has to say in anticipation of problems......Because this is NOT first come first serve, but randomly given away during a 24 hour period, we shouldn’t have difficulties meeting the traffic demand regardless of the number of visitors. Good luck to you and your site visitors!

Safeway No Longer Accepting Cellfire Coupons

So, as of today the option of us loading our Club Cards up with Cellfire coupons is not going to happen. Safeway has decided to discontinue Cellfire's service. :( We all new this was going to happen, especially with how eagle-eyed they have been lately. Well, it looks like today was the cut-off day. Here is the notice Cellfire sent me today. It should answer a couple of questions.

Dear valued members,

We have an important change to the Cellfire service that will affect your membership. Starting today, Thursday, Nov. 4th, Cellfire will no longer offer our coupons for use at Safeway. Safeway has decided to discontinue use of Cellfire’s save-to-card services. If you currently have Cellfire coupons saved to your Safeway card they will continue to be redeemable until their expiration date.

We continue to offer Cellfire save-to-card coupons at all Kroger-owned stores, ShopRite, Giant Eagle, and SHOP ‘n SAVE. And, we look to add additional stores in the coming months. Kroger-owned stores include: Ralph’s, King Soopers, City Market, Dillons, Smith’s, Fry’s, QFC, Baker’s, Owen’s, JayC, Hilander, Gerbes, Pay Less, Scott’s, and Fred Meyer. If you have one of these supported stores in your area please add your loyalty card to your Cellfire account to start saving coupons immediately. We apologize for this inconvenience and will let you know of any future changes.

Cellfire has released some new coupons that are waiting to be loaded onto your cards for some GREAT savings. Just go on over here to get them loaded to your cards.

If you have yet to load Cellfire coupons to your Safeway card and want to learn how, I will walk you through some simple steps.

First make sure that you have your Safeway Club Card number handy, as you will need this.
Then, go over here to get started.
You will see the red box to the bottom right that says "Get Cellfire." Click on this box.
Then, it will take you to a page that you need to input your cell number (they don't call your cell), year of birth, zip, and address, and whether you are male or female (not sure why, but that is a question)
Then, you click "Register."
From there (I can't remember), but I'm thinking the next step is to input your club card number and then start saving.

This is a great way to maximize your savings at Safeway.

Giveaway Starting Next Week

Well, I have been hinting for the past couple of weeks that we are going to have a give a way here, at The Frugal Life of A Mom. Well, just to give you a heads up, we are going to start the contest next week and will probably run for a week or so. I am still in the midst of working out the details. Okay, so I went out AGAIN last night and did some more shopping. Yes, I went on over to Safeway. Boy, I'm sure glad I did. I am so excited to share my savings with you that my fingers are shaking as I type this up. Wanna see a picture? Well, here it is...................

Guess how much I paid?! Any takers?.......................I PAID A WHOPPING $0.06.  YES, $0.06!!! Ready for this?..........I SAVED $66.29!!!! WHAAAAHOOOOOO!!!! I know that there are others who have done better, but I just feel really good about this one.
