Recipe=Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole

Here is another really yummy recipe that our family enjoys...

Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole

1 pound ground turkey
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can 98% fat-free cream of soup, low-sodium soup
1 package frozen tater tots

Instructions
Brown turkey, season to taste. Mix in soups. Pour into a 9X13 casserole dish. Top with frozen tater tots. Bake according to the tater tot package directions.

**This is not my own recipe. Once again, I found this years ago on the WW community boards. I have not had a chance to double check the point values, but the recipe states that it serves 8 and has a points value of 6. This is a really big serving. We really really like this recipe. It is really really good. You can also substitute the ground turkey for ground beef.

Confirmed Kmart Doubles Event

Yep, I went out and took one for the team (he, he). ;) Well, I had to do some shopping anyway. I did manage to make my way to Kmart on Sprague and they are having the Kmart Doubles Event. I posted the rules earlier. I just suggest that when you do go to make sure that the prices are ringing up correctly and that your coupons get ran through correctly. My Gillette Body wash was supposed to be $4, but rang up and $4 and some change. One of my coupons ran through at $0.75 when it should have been $2. So, just be careful. They were really good with me this morning when I went in.

Needless to say, I will be showing my couponing face there AGAIN tomorrow. :)

Kmart Doubles Event

It has started! It looks like we (Spokane) is on the list. You might want to call and double check to see if your store is participating. You can find the list of participating stores here.

Some info....

Below are the basic “rules” for this event:
*You can use manufacturer coupons up to and including a $2 value (i.e. if you have a $2/1 coupon, it will be doubled up to $2 for a total of $4 off the price of the item)
*You must be a member of the Shop Your Way Rewards program AND the cashier MUST swipe your reward’s card at the beginning of your transaction!!*
*Limit 5 total coupons per customer per day.
*If you are using more than 5 coupons in your transaction, ONLY the first 5 coupons will be doubled.
*Does not include Kmart Store Coupons or Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons (i.e. Kmart coupons will NOT be doubled)

*If you are not currently a Kmart Shop Your Way Rewards card member, do NOT stress! There are 3 simple ways to become a member:
1. Go to the Customer Service Dept at your local Kmart or Sears store and request a card; you will be able to sign up and receive your card immediately.
2. Call the Shop Your Way Rewards Card dept at 1.800.991.8708; they will take all your information over the phone and then a card will be mailed to you (the card typically takes 6-8 weeks to arrive). Even if you do not have the physical card in hand for the double coupon days, you can give the cashier your phone # or member # in order to pull up your reward’s account.
3. Click here to sign up on-line; then just print off a temporary card to use while you wait for the permanent card to arrive in the mail. (This is what I have done).
