Monday Weigh-In Report

I know, I know......It has been a couple of weeks since I have reported, but as you know I have been CRAZY busy over here. I think I lost a pound a couple of weeks ago and then I didn't weigh-in this past Sunday because it was Easter and they were closed, but I am feeling pretty good.

I am actually "thinking" about starting up my running again. I am getting to the point where I "kinda" miss it. I figured I would put some new songs on my MP3 player and get going. Lady Gaga has a few new songs that I think I can run too. Oh, maybe a little Katy Perry. Yes, I love all of these people. I am still 12 years old at heart. LOL. Some may even say I act like I'm 12. ☺

Anyway, I have just been super inspired lately and feel good about my journey again. I do have Zumba tonight, so I am REALLY looking forward to that. Don't laugh, but mom and I finally got the little jinglie/coined belts. I have convinced her to wear hers, but I still am a little self concious about wearing mine. So, I have yet to wear it, but I did buy some jinglie bracelets and I do wear those. So, I can still jingle.

Hey, you wanna see pics of what we do....just go on over here to our instructor's Facebook page and scroll down to the fourth entry, where the video is, put your volume on and you will get to hear one of the songs we Zumba too. These are pictures that were taken of our class a few weeks ago... Watch out cause that song may make you move! ☺ Every time I watch this video I can't stop moving. So, if you feel inspired, come join us! IT IS SOOOOO FUN!!! AND ONLY 3 BUCKS!!! E-mail me!☺ You can e-mail her too, if you have questions. This is a female only class. ☺ Nothing against you men out there, but I know that I would feel real self-conscious if there were men watching me shake what my mama gave me, as like I have told you in the past, my mama gave me a lot, hence being a Weight Watcher. ☺

I also cannot say enough about our instructor. She is GREAT! She too is a WW and has lost over 100 pounds! So, if you are big, small, or in between, no worries....

Okay, have a great rest of the week guys! I will report to you next Monday on how Mr. Scale was on Sunday.......

Walgreens Shop

Well, I had seen a FANTABULOUS deal that I wanted to go check out at Walgreens to see if it was accurate for our area, but I am sad to say that it was not for my Walgreens, but I did manage to score a good deal anyway. So, first, for the deal that was a no-go at "my" Walgreens (Trent and Argonne). I had heard that they (Walgreens) has Dove body wash on sale 2 for $4, then you would use the coupon from here for $3/2, making them JUST $0.50 each! Well, it was a no-go at my Walgreens. Maybe yours? It's worth checking out if you are in need of body wash.

Okay, so for the deal I did score.....

Here are the deals I came away with....

Happy Monday

Hey everyone. I missed you!!!

I really want to thank you for being patient with me last week. IT WAS CRAZY!!! I had a deadline, with LOTS of work, to try to make. I MADE IT!!! I barely made it, but I made it! My shoulders and my elbows were VERY sore by the time that I was finished. This next week is going to be crazy too. Hopefully not like last week, but still a little on the busy side, which is GREAT for me. I need to make that budget!

I have been up since 3, again, and have been typing my fingers away, and I have much more to do..........

Oh, you remember a month or so ago when I showed you pictures of my front yard, when that person "almost" ran into my house? Well guess what? That same kind of thing happened AGAIN! But, this time it wasn't my house, but our neighbor across the street. So, here's what I know. This happened on Friday. Oh, it was sooooo beautiful Friday, wasn't it? Well, I had let the two little ones play outside in the back yard. My older guy was out bike riding with his buddy for a little bit. So, all the windows were open and I was in the kitchen getting our hungry hungry hippo (Sadie) some food in her dish and I heard "the noise." I knew exactly what that sound was as it has happened before, in the same spot. I ran to the front door to see if there was anything that I needed to do. Two of my neighbors were already out there (the owner of the property and one of my other neighbors). So, I was sitting there just kinda watching (seeing if I need to head on over). I watch the two people kinda messin' in their car and he (the driver) hops out and she (the passenger) gets out the driver's side. The SUV landed in my neighbor's parking area. What happens is that we live on a corner and the speed limit to go around the corner is 20. Well, people speed on through thinking it's fun or whatever and then they crash their cars into our yards. My neighbor across the street has some tree stumps and a couple of nice rock piles in front of his property because of this. Well, he hit the cement barrier, the sign, and one of the rock piles. Really wrecked this SUV. I, still sitting there watching...... pretty soon I hear my neighbor start yelling...."hey, get back here...." THE DRIVER IS RUNNING AWAY!!! What?! He left the girl there and ran away!!! I went in and grabbed my camera and took a picture, but really there was not much they could do with the picture as it was from behind. The thing that they did get from it was that the name that was given for him did not match the description of what they had in their system (them being the police).

Anyway, I did end up going over there and chatting it up with my neighbors and waiting for all four police to come. I felt really bad for the girl. She really believed he was going to come back, but guess what??? He didn't. Imagine that. She says, she's really sick and is in the process of chemotherapy. She had her "friend" with her, she pulled over and asked him to drive. She says she was really sleepy. So, then she was sleeping when this happened. So, she is not sure if he was speeding or just wasn't paying attention. Then, to top it all off, it was her grandma's vehicle.

Just a sad situation. I know this kind of thing happens, but I can't believe that I saw it with my own two eyes. I just really like to see the best in people. So, as I am sitting there talking with my neighbor he tells me that it is crazy that they landed in his parking lot as they "usually land in your yard." Oh wow! Now, we have only lived here a little over a year, not even a year-and-a-half yet and so far it has only happened to use once, but it looks like we need to do some type of landscaping to protect ourselves a little more. It's kinda scary. I really wish people would just mind the speed limit.

Anyway, just thought I would share with you.

I hope you all had a nice Easter. We sure did. I was soooooo beautiful outside. Just a GREAT day to spend with the family and celebrate!!!

Albertsons=$0.50 for a bag of Hershey Whoppers?

So, there is a coupon out there for $1/1 Hershey's Candy and is only good at....Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Acme Markets, Cub Foods, and Farm Fresh Supermarkets (and Walmart since they take competitor coupons). I hear that, this week, Hershey’s Whoppers are on sale at Albertsons for $1.50.(I have not personally confirmed this), but if that is the case. You know what that means? That makes the bag ONLY $0.50!

Albertsons Coupon Questions

Do you need some clarification for Albertsons shopping when using your coupons? Well, just go on over here and see if they have an answer for your question. You can even print it out, if you would like to take with you next time.

Here is some info for using your "Twice the Value" coupons....

Twice the Value Coupon Guidelines

· We allow 3 transactions in a row
o Customers may use a Catalina from the first order on the 2nd and 3rd orders
· We accept all “Do not Double” coupons with TTVs (Twice the Value)
· TTVs (Twice The Value) can we take them with another store coupon?
o No - TTVs say “store Coupon” on them and we cannot take them with another store coupon
o Example - 11/14 ad - Tillamook Cheese 3.99 on store coupon, can use a manufacturer coupon with this, but not a TTV coupon
· Cash back will not be given for items
· Can we take 2 manufacturer coupons on a buy one get one free promotion?
o Yes - one manufacturer coupon per item-even if the one coupon says free, or there is a big BOGO promotion

So, have you heard of the +Up Rewards "tracking"? Well, I wanted to do the cleaning +UP Reward where you spend $30 and get a $10 +Up Reward back, but I didn't want to spend that much money. So, I only got a few of the items. Same goes for the Physicians Formula stuff. If you spend $20, you can get a $5 +UP, but I just got a couple of items for that deal too. Anyway, when I left I noticed this on the bottom of my receipt....

I know the picture is kinda blurry, but I was in a hurry. Look I even have some towards ANOTHER $5 for the Maybelline and Garnier deal too.

Anyway, I just really wanted to share that some of those +UPs are tracking. So, keep your eye out.
