Albertsons Peanut Butter Deal Gets Hotter!

I was just chattin' up with one of my friends and she was at Albies this morning trying to get her deal on. Well, guess what she discovered for me? When you buy the Skippy Peanut Butter, you also get 500 points towards your 5,000 for the $5 reward. If you don't know what I'm talking about. Albertsons (Spokane/Coeur d'Alene) has a point system, when you use your Albertsons card. Every time you purchase something from them (Albertsons) then you get whatever the allotted points are for either that product or just your purchase added to your card. Once you hit 5,000 points, you get a $5 Reward (coupon) to use on your next purchase.

Also, I was talking with one of the managers this morning at my FAVORITE Albies (Liberty Lake, for those of you that don't know which one I'm talking about), and he said that all the different variations are part of the deal, i.e., natural, creamy, chunky, reduced-fat creamy, reduced-fat chunky. YAY! I'm gettin' the reduced fat!

An example, if you were ONLY going to buy the peanut butter. I really wouldn't suggest doing this unless you call ahead first to make sure they have enough peanut butter on-hand for you to do this. Maybe this isn't even a stock-up price for you, but this is JUST an example.

- Coupon from the back of Albertson's ad making them 2 for $2
= $9, making them $0.90 each. PLUS, you get back a $5 Reward to use on your next purchase! In a sense, making these $0.50 each!

Also, there is a coupon in the Albertsons booklet for $3 off when you buy 10 Vitamin Water or smartwater manufacturer coupon. Now, this deal is EVEN better if you were able to print out the B1G1 free coupons that were available a while back. They are NLA (no longer available). So, here is the next best thing that I could think of.

-$5 instant savings
-$3 coupon from Albertsons booklet
= $4.50, making them $0.45 each!

Not great, but not too bad either.

Recipe=7UP Biscuits

Wow, check this AWESOME recipe out that I just came across on My Litter! It looks soooo yummy and EASY PEASY!

7 UP (or Sierra Mist) Biscuits

2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup 7-up
1/4 cup melted butter
Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-Up. Makes a very soft dough.
Sprinkle additional biscuit mix on board or table and pat dough out. Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 9 inch square pan. Place cut biscuits in pan and bake at 450 degrees until golden brown.
