Zumba

Reminder....
Going to Zumba this afternoon (Tuesday), from 1:30 to 2:30. It's here in the valley AND they have FREE childcare too. Let me know if you want to tag-a-long and we can meet up, and I will give you some directions. Maybe you are not ready to tag-a-long and just kinda want to go check it out by yourself, that's fine too. It is at The Intersection (yes, that is the name of the church) on McDonald and Broadway....Oh, the cost is FREE or you can donate a buck or so, as they have a donation jar. Not very many people go to this class, so if you are afraid of a big crowd, this one is probably a GREAT one for you to get started at. Like I have said before, this is an WOMEN ONLY class, and there are women of all different shapes, colors, sizes, capabilities, and needs that attend this class. It is such a welcoming environment, and REALLY fun too! ☺ Also, instructor Angela is AWESOME.

Oh, how I LOVE these coupons. Right now, you can go on over here and print out a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $25 or more at Penny's. This is good from tomorrow 8/3 through 8/6! Another Home Made Simple Coupon Booklet

Just go over here, fill out the info, and you should receive your coupon booklet in 4 to 6 weeks. If you are not familiar with this coupon book, it is an awesome booklet. It comes with over $30 in savings, mostly for cleaning supplies and stuff like this. I love these book and try to order them when I can.

Safeway=$5/$15 of ANY Frozen Foods

As of today, there is a coupon at the customer service counter for $5 of a $15 purchase or more of ANY frozen food items. "My" Safeway has signs posted on the freezer doors stating that they are at customer service and one coupon per person/family.

Old Montana Prison

Well, we had to break the trip up so it wouldn't be so long for our kiddos. So, we decided that we would get out and walk around the Old Montana Prison and have a picnic at the park. It really was soooooo much fun. I was really amazed at how much my kids enjoyed it. Every single one of them enjoyed it. Here are a few pictures I would like to share with you....

We are now inside. This is one of the towers the guards used to sit in and watch the prisoners from.



Okay, so the guards were in the towers above. Now, if prisoners went beyond this red "out of bounds" line, then the guards had the option to just "shoot 'em."



This is just a list of prisoner movement. I just thought it was really cool lookin'.

 

Isn't this kinda creepy. Wanna go get a dental/medical exam here? This was my favorite room. We couldn't go in, but we got to see it from the window. Sooooo awesome looking.

Okay, so this is kinda cool. Yes, this is my fam. Anyway, there were lots of these tunnels throughout the prison. These were tunnels that the guards would walk through and do whatever they did, but you see that little cubby to the left of the picture, above Faith's head? That is a cubby meant for the guards to put their guns in and shoot or whatever they did with their guns at the prison back in those days. Those cubbies are everywhere throughout the prison.

So, this was a really really cool place to take my family. We all enjoyed it and was was really inexpensive too. It was only $9 for each adult, Trent was $5, and the two little ones were FREE (ages 9 and under are free)!!! So, I went there when I was about Trent's and I still remembered it. It was sooooo cool to be able to take my own family back and do it again. What a treat? Although, I discovered that they say it is haunted, which I waited until after to tell Trent. ☺ I'm sure he would have refused to go in or been upset and scared the whole time. I have to tell you there were a couple of times that I was creeped out, knowing this information, especially down in the solitary confinement cells. Those babies were s-c-a-r-e-y.

So, if you are EVER in the area, go check out the Old Montana Prison.

The admission is good for two days and good for all of their museums. They also have....

Seriously, we all had so much fun and it was sooooooo family friendly. I definitely would recommend this if you are in the area.
